Enjoyable Read
This book has been a long time coming, but I can tell you it is totally worth reading. Even though so much time has passed I had no problems falling right back into this series. I had no problems dredging up from my memory the details from past books that I needed for this book. So if you were contemplating reading this book but avoiding it because you fear you won't remember, the book does a great job of helping to refresh you of what's happened in the past. This author is totally worth giving a second chance!Alex is fading because of course "Fae can’t survive without a tie to Faerie." So she gets roped into help the Winter Queen find the person responsible for the new glamour-infused street drug "Glitter" which makes the users fears real! Since she's fading she must do this all before she a.) dies, or b.) has to give up her life as she knows it! I zoomed through this book barley wanting to put it down even though I had too a couple times. It was without out a doubt my favorite book of the year. The writing was on par, the story telling pulled me in, and I couldn't wait to find out who the bad guy was. The mystery is interesting with a dubious bad guy who is with out a doubt cray cray! Probably certifiably nuts, or in other words a complete Psychopath.... Though I had several suspects, one of them ended up being it, and it was totally vindicating! I also was happy there was no huge cliffhanger. Though there are still many threads needing to be resolved, and I really hope we get that chance to follow through with this series.I was a little disappointing that there still seems to be a love triangle. Also that Death still just as cute only gets small cameo parts! Falin who is still as gorgeous as always still can't be trusted, even though I want to (sigh)! What else oh yeah Alex's Dad really is still unbelievable, I'm just not sure there is are any redeeming qualities in him! He pulls out a dusey of a humdinger in this book for Alex! Alex herself is still a little uncertain of her future, still doesn't know how to fully use her powers, but I have hope for her! There are openings made in this one for her to learn, though why Falin/Caleb haven't even really tried to help her learn is beyond me. They could have taught her at least glamour by now. There is a lot to enjoy in this one and not much to hate!I recommend this to any one who previously enjoyed this series, or who loves urban fantasy. Though if your new to the series I suggest you start a the beginning with Grave Witch!

I absolutely loved the return of Alex Craft
OH.MY.GOD! It’s finally here!! Squeeeeeeeeeeeee!!Now that I have that out of the way, I absolutely loved the return of Alex Craft. This long anticipated novel hit all the right marks for me. As I pined away in the delays of its release, I found my mind always wandering back to this series and the cliffhanger ending of the last book several years back. In that time, I created what I thought would be the direction Price would take with this novel so many times to keep the characters alive. I am so damn glad that I was proven wrong.Alex’s life continues to spiral out of control with the impromptu new roommate thanks to the Winter Queen’s orders that cannot be trusted. Oh how I wanted to love Falin, but even as the reader and not the character of this book, I know I can’t trust him because of his ties to the Winter Queen. His betrayal was like a knife stuck in the heart that after all this time is still open and seeping blood. He’s the character that you always have to keep an eye on at all times. This doesn’t exactly make things easy when crazy things start happening in the human world that reek of fae mischief. Alex is forced into helping the Winter Queen with an untrustworthy Falin by her side in order to survive. She needs the bargain set forth by the Queen and she won’t stop to get the one thing her life depends on. It’s a high stakes gamble that even Alex Craft may not be able to win.Are you bouncing with intrigue yet? Because you should be. I know you may be thinking that there is a specific character that wasn’t mentioned above. You’d be right. Death is a part of this novel, but not as much as I would have liked to have seen him. Even in the scenes he does make an appearance, your heart and your panties will still melt for him. After all this time I am still #TeamDeath. For those of you who are still bitter over the length of time it took for this novel to come out, calm yourselves. When life gets it in the way, it’s hard for an author’s mind to focus on a fictional world rather than the real world. Kaylana Price, thank you so much for delivering a new Alex Craft novel that made me both miss and want this series even more. It is still and will always be one of my favorites, and no matter how long it takes you to write the next one, I will wait because on release day, it’s worth it.

Another fun instalment!
The plot thickens!Alex's fae heritage is fully manifesting and she's paying the price: She's beginning to fade.Alex needs to affiliate herself with one of the fae courts by joining or being declared independent or she will die.Naturally, the annoying Winter Queen is determined to ensure Alex belongs to her and will use everything at her disposal to ensure it happens. To make matters worse, a fae drug called Glitter is wreaking havoc in the mortal world and Alex has to solve the case as a condition of getting her independent status - and staying out of the Winter Queen's clutches!I really enjoy the world-building in this series. I really like Alex as a character and where the series seems to be heading. There are just so many questions I need answering! All in all, Grave Visions was an interesting and entertaining instalment in the series with plenty of snark, action and plot development. I just wish there was a little more resolution on some of those plot points... But it's coming! I can see it coming!

Fantastic and worth the wait
It was with much anticipation and a lot of impatience that I finally managed to get a copy of this book, and it was so worth the wait. Please don't give up on this series as Grave Visions proves to be just as good and just as worth the wait. So, two days of sitting with this and digesting it I can draw the conclusions that this book was a down right awesome read, as per the standard of the series so far. The plot and characters are just as solid and likeable/enjoyable as the previous books. It was well written and flowed nicely on from the previous books so it didn't feel as if there had been a massive wait. My only complaint is that the gargoyle from the previous books (Fred) was strangely absent from this book. Other than that (and the long wait) I was glad to have read this book. It was up to the usual standard of the author and kept me gripped within it's pages. I genuinely struggled to put this book down.

Urban fantasy series
Grave Visions is book four of the Alex Craft urban fantasy series. To get the best out of this series I would recommend reading the books in order.Alex is a Grave Witch who can raise shades. She is employed by the police to help them find answers from the dead.In this story people are dying after strange hallucinations, ones which their own bodies seem to be fueling.Meanwhile Alex is fading, by refusing to link to Faerie and a heritage she is trying to keep secret.Another enjoyable adventure, with plenty of questions left unanswered about Alex, which lead into the next book

Hugely Enjoyable
Every now and then a series grabs you and won't let go and despite the fact that it's been a while since the last book, I had no trouble picking up the world or these wonderful characters and it was worth every second of the wait and the read. Poor Alex has such a complicated life and I still don't know what she's really going to do about it all, but whatever happens I'll be along for the ride. Both Falin and Death appear and feature, however both still seem unattainable as real, ever after relationship material. Both are wonderfully complex and out of reach, however Alex herself is so fascinating that it doesn't seem to matter what her love life is up to as she holds your attention all the way. The story is as ever frightening and I never know what is going to happen next. The Winter Court features heavily and we see a slightly more damaged side to the Queen and Faerie itself, and despite the fact that Alex is fading we see her more in control of powers and self. I am hoping that in future books Alex will gain more ideas about herself and have a firmer idea of where she wants to be in terms of Faerie and her love life! Hugely enjoyable.

Thank you.
I'd had this on my 'to buy' since he third one came out, in paperback. But it never seemed to be in stock. Then I realised I could but for my kindle woohoo!I love this series. Alex is a brilliant character who you root for to be allowed to have independent status from ALL courts as I'm not fond of any of them lol.Falin I'm just not sure of. I believe he loves her, but the Winter Queen has too much hold on him.Now Death, he's another one who loves her. But will him loving her be his end?And being betrothed from birth? After waiting s long I'm off to the next one NOW lol.
