I would like to see this in more sizes and colors, but it absolutely does its job! I originally brought the larger size for inside my doorway because I have no stoop at all, so when you walk in, you’re tracking in whatever dirt you have on your shoes, and a doormat outside was just not cutting it alone. I have since moved it outside because, frankly, it does look more than a little bit industrial. However, this has allowed me to add a nicer mat inside the door because it does such a good job catching things outside. It’s not fullproof, but it does a heckuva job. I haven’t tried to wash it yet, but it’ll hose off nicely, and I have no doubt it’ll stand up to whatever you give it. I think you also might be able to actually cut it with scissors or an X-Acto knife or whatever to make it fit inside a door jamb, which was my original plan.NOTE: I am up here writing this review because I searched through my past purchases to find the item in order to get the smaller version for the doorway from my laundry room, which contains cat boxes, onto the carpet in the next room. This item is really a bargain at this price, especially compared to the next similar product that I have found by gorilla grip.

Loved the look of this mat and liked how it made it easier to keep the house cleaner. People would actually wipe their feet. As it has a penetrable top layer, it can be folded to keep dirt in until you get to garbage can. It can also be hosed of too rinse it clean. Will buy it for all entrances.

One issue: 5" in a HOT dryer wasn't possible in my dryer, but I kept repeating and finally got the wrinkles out.Put the 42 x 35 heated rug on the cold cement garage floor, and it has remained flat and in place beautifully!Gray color is great for "no obvious dirt" after heavy traffic (yard to garage to kitchen) Aug 9- Sept 3!

The feel is not the best and the back rubber, like what most of the reviews mentioned, is super thin and can be peeled off easily. However, I bought it because there doesn't seem to have much choice for concrete steps and this, according to the reviews, stick well on the floor. I still use super strong double sided tape in case it slips but overall works great so far.

This product is the exact size and material that is advertised. I used two of these as a rug for a new shoe caddy I installed. Very durable and definitely water resistant.

This is a nice mat. It was a bit thinner than expected but it lays flat and serves its purpose.

The description is accurate but I was still surprised that it was completely made of plastic/rubber. I thought that the mat would have a fabric finish with a rubber underside, like what I typically see in stores. However, the mat is made of woven threads of plastic/rubber material. The result is a very durable mat which does a good job capturing dirt due to the open weave. Small amounts of water (say from wet boots) wick into the mat where, I guess, the dampness would eventually evaporate. I would not put this mat on a wood floor where there is a lot of traffic bringing in damp material. Due to the material and texture, it sticks well to my tile floor and provides some compressibility. I wouldn't buy this mat again as I don't like the aesthetic.

I have been using this doormat indoors for 7 months now. It would be great outdoors around slippery areas.I am super pleased with it. It does not slip on my floor at all. So far hasn’t turned my white flooring yellow. It is so easy to vacuum. Even with strongest suction it hasn’t lifted the mat while cleaning. When there has been some dirt brought in from outdoors I haven’t been able to tell. My other carpet/rubber backed mat you could see and feel everything. I can’t imagine anyone tripping over it. The mat is flat and tight to the floor. Super grip.I wouldn’t say the mat is absorbent but I imagine it would hold a fair bit of liquid. It is waterproof not absorbent.It did have a smell when I first got it but seemed to go away in a short amount of time. There were creases from being folded when I got it. It said to put in the dryer for a bit. I didn’t but waited it out. It took a couple of weeks to flatten out. Had to reposition it to help remove the creases.It does feel funny when walking barefoot on it.It was not what I expected which was a carpet top. Yet I have to say I am super happy with this mat. It is an overachiever. Well worth the money.

We have a sunken living room and have used this to help my very senior Golden retriever with osteoarthritis get the grip she needs when jumping down or up the step and prevent slipping and sliding on the floor. I have it on ceramic tile flooring and it literally doesn't budge. She can be fussy with mats and rugs but she very quickly came to trust this mat as being immoveable as well. Works great - very grippy and good traction for paws. When it came, it did have a bit of a plastic smell but it dissipated within 24 hrs. It's not a mat that's cozy or would work for a pet lying down and lounging, in my opinion, as its more utilitarian and functional. Would be great in a mud room, deck or garage as well. Very happy with my purchase as the price was very reasonable.

It is heavy and durable and looks good at the entrance (outside). It does not slip, so I believe it will stay in place during the heavy winds and hopefully during snow storms. I just doubt about the absorbency of snow in winter. Let's see. But overall, it's a great product.

I liked the size of the mats and a great price for them. I these mats for outdoor mats and work great!
