Ford Friction Modifier Additive, Clutch Type Limited Slip Differential, 3.80 oz Bottle, Each

This stuff works like magic!

The product has a really obnoxious odor, however it really works! The gear oil I used had friction modifier in it but didn't correct the grabbing/ locking in the limited slip differential. One 4oz. bottle of the Ford friction modifier fixed 90 percent of the issues inside of 10 miles! After doing some figure 8s in a parking lot I suspect all grabbing will be gone.

Works great. I just put it inside the Valvoline bag as it was halfway full and poured it all in. Its a green color additive. Seems to work as intended.

Great additive for older vehicles with sketchy, noisy differentials. There are other uses reported by various commenters - read what they have to say. Even though packaged in a secure container, the smell seeps out of the bottle, and you and your family will know it quickly, if you bring it into your house. Store it in a garage or outbuilding to avoid the smell. (The strong smell means it will work very well.)

For some things you just want the factory branded products

ordered for a 8.8 with clutch type (trac-lock) limited slip to address clutch chatter. worked 100% as expected.note, even with a sealed and bagged bottle, the smell permeates through multiple layers of packaging. do NOT order/ship with anything that will retain odors such as fabric, or food.

Great product for any ford with a limited slip diff. The only bad thing was it never came with the tip piece so you can actually fill your diff with the fluid.
