Ultra-Fab 19-950002 8" Steel Tripod Leg Extension, (Pack of 3)We camp quite often in Ocean Lakes Campground in Myrtle Beach. Many of the concrete pads, while level left to right, they are bowed from rear to front. I believe this is for proper water runoff. When leveling our fifth wheel camper, because of the slab bowing effect, when in a level position, the front end of the camper is almost five feet from the cement surface. We use an Ultra-Fab King Pin Stabilizer however; it simply was not long/high enough to reach the king pin box to properly engage the support tripod. I ended up placing thick boards under each tripod leg to gain the proper height to stabilize the 5th wheel – an unsightly mess. I found these 8” extension legs on Amazon and installed them onto my Ultra-Fab stabilizer. You simply remove the three existing leg pads, insert an extension onto each leg, reattach the leg pads and you now have 8 extra inches of length. First and foremast it’s functional and secondly it looks like a professional hookup. These leg extensions will fit other brands of stabilizers too – not just Ultra Fab. They are well built of fairly thick steel (I believe thicker than the stabilizer itself), and they simply do the job well.

I installed these on my Ultra-Fab tripod because it wasn't tall enough on its own. It works so much better now. The jury is still out on weather or not the trip pod actually does anything for keeping the trailer from moving.

Good addition but not always necessary. Replaced the bolts and nuts with a quick release like the one that attaches the shoe to each leg so they can be put on or taken off without the need for two wrenches.

Needed our RV tripod to have longer legs where we were parked for the winter. These extended the legs, fit well, and did what was needed. The tripod stabilizes movement in a fifth-wheel RV.

Exactly what I wanted.
