Quality capsules
We use these capsules to encapsulate our own herbs. You get a lot in the bag and you rarely get capsules that are bent up. They are easy to pull apart and recap. The main reason we buy them is because they're vegetarian capsules, and I think they are priced well. We've stuck to this brand for multiple purchases.

Best Deal!
Hands-down, best capsule deal on the market. These are so affordable, I often find myself using these capsules and under-filling them, instead of using my Sizes 1-4 (which are smaller), to keep costs down.I like to store empty capsules with some sort of moisture absorber... easiest method is to place the bag of caps into a larger ziploc, then add a handful of dry rice to the outer zippie. For those who feel in need of encapsulators, but wouldn’t use often, a make-shift option is using a thick sheet of styrofoam (like the top of a cooler), then creating capsule cubbies by stabbing holes in the styrofoam with an unsharpened pencil, or metal straw from a tumbler. No capsules will sit neatly, but that will give you the feel of using a single sized encapsulator for your various-sized capsules. If you can afford to purchase 8 different sizes of encapsulators (5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0, 00, 000), I totally recommend skipping the styrofoam route. If you’re migraine-prone, I can’t recommend any version of an encapsulator, though. Pretty sure just glancing at one could trigger a migraine for me, if only due PTSD from previous experiences with them. I am able to fill faster by hand, once I get a good rhythm going. My method...~ Fill a disposable two ounce (condiment) cup with supplement to be capped.~ Remove smaller end of cap with left hand~ 80% of my caps can be filled by stabbing the larger end into the ‘stuffing, repeatedly, until it’s crammed-full. Coarser supp’s like PEA & NAC require more focus.~ loosely cap and weigh, then add or remove powder to reach desired dosage. If trying this method, I do recommend calculating your reasonable range of accuracy for each supplement... & know that, in the end, you’ll be likely to have more fairly-accurate dosed capsules than you would’ve if you’d have used only an encapsulator. (well, an encapsulator without also using a scale... because if you use an encapsulator AND a milligram scale, you’re surrendering every free second of your life to supplement planning).Somewhere around 20 caps, I get a feel for it and am usually close to needed dose without having to add or remove powder, and speed picks up tremendously.So... I’d have thought this would go without saying, but since the capsules are made of jello, it’s not really a good idea to fill these with anything wet.‘

These are JOINED, HARD (as long as you reseal bag) capsules, great overall.
If you prefer one over the other, because I couldn't tell before purchasing, these are JOINED capsules, meaning you will have to manually separate them before using them. This has its pros and cons, capsules that are shipped joined are, naturally, paired so there are very low count differences in the two sides of the capsule. Also, it makes them more resilient to crushing, though I got mine shipped in a box so I don't know if that is a big issue. These capsules are harder than average. I prefer this because some capsules just dissolve instantaneously when you put it in your mouth and sip on a water, and that defeats the whole purpose of putting the supplements in a capsule, which for me is so I don't have to taste the stuff. If you live where the air is more on the humid side, these gelatin capsules will absorb the moisture from the air readily; slowly, but definitely do they get softer and stickier from the water they attract. Storing them in the freezer is NOT an option, because then condensation will ruin them.Especially since you have to handle these a little more (to separate them) the extra hardness is welcome. Yes, it makes it more prone to shattering, but I had 0, zero, broken capsules in the bag when it was delivered. I shattered some accidentally, but that was because I was abusing the tamper :PThere's no flavor, flavor being in the ratings category suddenly makes me wary of other brands, do some of them taste like animal products?? :XThey're easy to swallow, as soon as they come in contact with water, they become slippery, kind of like soap. If you tamp the filling sufficiently, they will not float in water (with most materials) and you will not get that weird "stuck at the bottom of the esophagus" feeling you can get sometimes with lighter capsules. (It's actually floating capsules hitting the top of your stomach apparently, and if you don't know what I'm talking about, try swallowing a couple empty sealed capsules, it's an uncanny sensation)Aaaaannnd what why would gelatin capsules provide pain relief Amazon. And if you think this is pain medication why are you selling what you believe to be narcotics in bulk haha. No pain relief whatsoever xD
