Feels durable
From what the pictures showed. I had expectations that this would be a cheap cable. When I received it, it didn't feel like that. The cable felt strong and sturdy and the head which houses the main components is well sealed and doesn't feel like breaking any time soon. It seems like some thought has gone into the product as I can see that the pin cables are labeled too. Like someone said, although this is 5V VCC, it does not tell you on the cable and instead only on the manual. I think it's worth noting on the cable this, just in case you loose the box it came in. I would consider the flat cable more beneficial as it prevents the cable from being tangled up. The pins are separated, which I think is better as some boards place the pins in different locations and this removes the need to use an extension. The length of the individual pin cables are around 50mm long, which I think is the perfect length, allowing you reach the pins you need, without it being too long.I don't really want to repeat what the other review said, but I have to emphasize that the labelling is really useful especially since the red cable isn't normally what you'd expect it to be. I have used it once, and it has worked fine, however, it hasn't gotten much use right now so can't write a full review right now. If any problems arise, then I'll update this, but right now, I am happy with this product.TTL cables are versatile and can be used for debugging and programming. Reading outputs is a popular use for them. Occasionally you can have bootloader problems, and this can help identify them and potentially fix the problems before yo attach them to your PCB.(The cable arrived in a box, so you can be sure that the cable is safe.)

Great USB to TTL converter
I really like this USB to TTL converter. Works great from Arduino IDE. Just install the driver and ready to go.Beside Arduino programmer you can also use it to read from the debug port from several devices.I like also that the connection cables are included so no extention or extra cable are needed.Really practical to have in my drawer.

Well made, high quality, practical USB/TTL cable.
This DSD Tech USB to TTL cable is well made and high quality. It's designed to be very practical in several ways. The TTL side of the cable features separated wires that are easy to plug directly into your device or breadboard - so you don't need to run additional wires from the usual wire terminal socket type arrangement. Also, the wires are clearly marks with each TTL serial function - it's really helpful and practical.Easily identifiable light blue colour too! Love it!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! AAA+++

Nice Flat Style USB-TTL Cable.
This USB-TTL cable is of the flat style which has become very popular nowadays as a more flexible alternative to round wrapped cables, which can be quite stiff when they contain multiple inner wires. The TTL circuitry is all self-contained within the rubber casing of the USB connector, and at the other end are female pin connectors which are all conveniently labeled. It comes with an instruction sheet and a mini-CD containing the drivers, although I think this is unnecessary and perhaps a bit wasteful as CD drives are becoming obsolete and it's much quicker and more convenient to just download the drivers off the web.The feel of the entire cable is solid and it all works well. My only complaint is that the wires for the end connectors feel a bit flimsy in themselves, and I fear that with a lot of use they may split and break. I would have preferred more flexible wound core wiring which although would have made the entire cable thicker, would provide for more resilience over the long term.Note: This is an Amazon Vine review. I was sent this product free of charge in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

fit for its purpose
this usb to ttl cable is at good quality, sturdy material and well made connectors, it’s also a flat cable with special colour, very easy to distinct from a bunch of cables in the toolboxi used this cable with my raspberry pi as a serial cable, it’s more convenient as it directly supply 5v power to the raspberry pi, no external power is requiredusb driver installation was simple, windows 10 detected the cable right away, no problem found in serial communication so farmy only complaint is that, i have no idea why the colour of vcc wire is blue instead of the commonly used red colour, i wrongly plugged the red wire (rts) twice already, luckily i didn’t use external power source, or else it might damage both the raspberry pi and the pcalso, i believe green and white colour are more common for tx and rx wireanyway, i would give this product a 5 stars review if the wire colours aren’t so confusing, everything else is perfect

Easy to use, nicely labelled (but red wire is not VCC)
As the photo shows, I'm monitoring the TX pin of my ESP32 for my Internet Radio and it works very nicely indeed. It immediately identified itself as a COM port in Windows and work just like a standard USB-to-Serial adapter (such as an FTDI).I like the labelled, floating wires as it makes connections easier but I do hate the fact that the red wire is not VCC - an accident waiting to happen! As an easy way to connect to Arduinos and the like it's great.
