Does not stick well to surfaces. I need to use superglue to permanently stick it to TV remotes.The sound volume is too low! The place needs to be literally dead quiet for you to hear the very low sound emitted from the tile!

Bought these for use as under-seat bicycle trackers. They obviously work when the linked phone is within Bluetooth distance but they hype about community tracking is totally false.The idea is that there is a huge number of people out there with the app on their phone and that any phone with the app will pick up a nearby Tile and anonymously relay its location back to the allocated phone.We fitted the Tiles to our boys' bikes. We put the app on my phone and made that the admin for the Tiles. We ALSO downloaded and activated the app on my wife's phone. My wife and boys went out for a ride (so her phone was within Bluetooth distance of the Tiles on the bicycles almost all the time) and I tried to track the Tiles.Unfortunately the Tiles did not respond at all and I had no tracking on them until they were back home, within Bluetooth range of my phone.I'd say this is a pretty severe mis-selling excercise. One of the key claims is that even if the Tile is out of range of the allocated phone then other phones with the App installed will relay info on a nearby Tile's location back to the allocated phone.If the Tiles cannot be used as real trackers then they are just key-finders if you are within range. And you can get a whistling key ring for about three quid that will do that job very effectively!

The adhesive is very poor and stickers fall off. they advertise that you can buy replacements, but you can’t in the UK. Their customer services is woeful.

My mum hides pretty much everything around the house - these have been a life saver. I have used the lower-end key finders (by radio signal) but this is much better (though not perfect at times, you can still end up playing detective for a while!). You use bluetooth via your phone and a signal shows whether you are getting hotter/colder in finding the item. Bear in mind it can't tell the difference between being upstairs/downstairs, so you may be looking in one location trying to find something and the answer may be right above/below you :-)

Bought 8 of these as had read the reviews and heard good things. One came unstuck within a week and was lost. Now I've had a bike stolen with the tile hidden on it and I realise it doesn't work at all. Network shows 7000+ tile users in my area, it's marked as lost and nothing being picked up. Then checked all my other kids bikes with tiles and they aren't even being located within the house when I stand on top of them. Maybe they're good for remote etc that you want to ring when you can't find, but don't use on anything valuable like a bike or for the community find function and think it will help....

I am able to open the app one time in ten, on a good day. Usually it crashes my Moto G 6 as soon as I attempt to open it. The same on a backup phone and my wife's phone.I contacted Tile support who refused to even consider my complaint without a video of it and after sending one in they have been arrogant, patronising, ignorant and completely useless.If you are certain your hardware will run their Mickey Mouse software then consider buying and then buy a better alternative.
