My bad - I ordered the wrong size.I though M24 meant the inner hole was 24mm diameter but it doesn't.The whole washer is 24mm diameter so they are way too big.So research required....

I used the product to raise my wrought iron double gates, level so it latches properly, with the other gate. Greased both sides with WD-40 grease and now my gates are level and do not squeal, when opened.

Zinc plating got mashed and washer deformed at a mere 15 ft lbs on an M8 nut. Hopeless, might as well have cut washers from a piece of cheese. Have been filed in B1N
