I love this juice but the price increase is totally unreasonable and taking advantage of over inflation. They have also reduced its strength so more is needed. The bottles are quite small for the price and they could save on packaging and final cost to the customer if they were to sell bigger bottles.It’s still one of the only juices to have no artificial sweeteners so I still buy it but I’m really disappointed with the way the company is handling the quality and price.

I remember when I was a kid in the 90s Ribena use to taste very nice. Then fast for years later in 2015 I bought a strawberry Ribena after many years and it tasted, well "chemically" and strange. I thought it was just one bottle or batch. But like Cadburies, I found that the ingredients of the other Ribena flavours may have changed as it tasted very strange and "chemically", not like the days when I was a kid. I was disappointed and having considered myself a connoisseur of squash and cordials, I have come across the good, the bad and the ugly. This blackcurrent and blueberry cordial is definitely in the top end of the good. It is delicious and refreshing. If you are worried about sugar, you can always dilute it more than the recommended 1cordial:8water. It really depends on my mood, I prefer to dilute it more to feel the thirst of the water gushing into my throat though I also at times like it as it states, having a bit of a sugary drink. This will not disappoint I promise. It will remind you of how good Ribena use to be.
