Quality Laser Light With Few Features
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I love decorating with laser lights for the holidays. But the problem is the vast majority of them limit you to two color choices….red and green. So when I saw this particular light by Sunyao that added blue into the mix, I figured it was worth a try.The light is very well-constructed. The body and ground stake are both made of metal unlike all the other ones I’ve had or seen that are plastic. The cord is nice and long which will allow you to place it most anywhere. The laser lights projected by the unit are bright and in-focus unlike those in a lot of the cheaper units. And the light patterns move….swirl actually….which gives it all a nice look. There are a number of color combinations to choose from including red, green, red/green and red/blue. You pretty much have all the ‘holiday options’ covered here.Every function on this light is controlled only by the remote control….which looks like it came from the 1970’s. I’ve never seen a laser light remote control with an antenna until now.until now. The remote controls all the functions of the light…power on/off…color…and a timer function. It’s pretty straightforward. My one complaint about this laser light is that, for the price, it doesn’t do much. With all the technology available out there…that is actually available in a lot of the less expensive laser lights….this light should do a lot more than just swirl around in a few different colors. That was most disappointing thing about this laser light.I like the look and quality of this laser projection light, so I’ll use it this holiday season and maybe even beyond. It may not get ‘front yard placement’ due to its limited features, but it will make my garage look nice.

Strong colors
Based upon prior experience with blue laser devices I had been afraid that the blue would be weak and hidden by the stronger colors; I was pleasantly surprised that the blue is nearly as strong as the red and green and holds its own in the multi-color modes. The case is strong and seems durable; though I'm not overly sure of the water proof claim as the bezel ring shows a good 1 mm gap on the bottom, so I'm not sure how well sealed it is (time or an Allen wrench and disassembly would tell). The stake is metal and provides a strong base. The laser and remote seem like an upgrade to an earlier version with only red and green that I have (no idea if it is the same brand, but I'd guess it came from the same design plans). Overall, this is a pretty good laser holiday light, though the addition of a 3rd color bump the cost a healthy amount. P-)

Good but could be brighter
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The sturdy and well constructed with metal housing and a long cord. Not quite as bright as my other outdoor laser from LedMall; the red seems particularly dim. The motion effects don't have a wide array of patterns, but I like how the speed can be adjusted and color selected. It has a really wide spread so don't need much distance to cover a large area which helps offset the relatively low brightness. The radio frequency remote uses an uncommon 23A 12V battery that seem to have a slight short that required squeezing the bottom of the remote to get it to operate; once I readjusted the battery, this problem has been far less frequent.Video is a little dim but shows the laser projected up into a large tree in my backyard.---
