This is my second camera of this model. I broke the latch on the first by accident. It’s pics are clear, camera /menu is easy to operate. All of the settings offered are plenty for my use. I have 4 other cameras and this one is my favorite. Night time images are pretty nice. The only thing odd is the way they designed the slot for the SD card… it places the little notch of the card inward so you can’t really use your finger nail to pull it out… making it hard to grasp after it pops out of the slot. Aside from that I think it’s well worth the money.

The Alpha Cam is solidly built and makes a good seal when the latch is closed, keeping out moisture. LCD screen is very readable and the set-up is straight forward. Daytime photos and videos are great. The nighttime shots are also good. The support staff is first rate. They replied to my questions (there were many) the same day I asked.Tips: The User Guide Manual may be hard to read for some because of the small print. You can download the User Guide Manual (ACDL) as a PDF file from the Alphacamhunt.com website for much better readability. The Alpha Cam has a USB port that will accept a USB cable to transfer photos/videos to a PC. You can insert a small padlock at the bottom of the latch mechanism, that will make it difficult for anyone to open the cam.Update 11/17/21: Sad to write this but the cam died on June 2021, purchased on January 2021. Located under a roof overhang to protect it from rain, sun, etc. Cam worked great for a while but just died on its own. Batteries were in good condition when last used earlier in June. Have to lower the rating from 5 stars to 2 stars.Update 02/20/22: Support staff being first rate honored my 2 year warranty and sent me a new alpha cam. The new cam works fine, nice photos & videos, etc. Hopefully, the first cam failure was an oddity and the new cam will work better. I've changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.

Up to a total of 7 of these on my property, battery life is good with regular Alkaline batteries, photo quality is good, love that they have the screen, easily adjusted. There are better cameras on the market but way too expensive, these are plenty good enough!

One of the best game cameras on the market. Worth the price in reliability. Get a 12v battery and solar charger and you have endless pictures and videos

The Alpha Cam works very well for the intentended purpose, can capture things that you wouldn't see otherwise. Setting it up is breeze, depending on the activity in the area the battery last for a pretty long time.This company support is really awesome. The camera had some issiues after about eight month and after couple of message exchanged, the company replaced the Cam. You don't see this kind of support nowadays, especially on Amazon. Thank you Alpha Cam....

I bought this for my wife for her birthday to watch deer and wildlife on our property. We are enjoying it very much. Night videos and images are very good. Daylight videos and images are great also. I bought me one when we saw how much fun it was and the quality of videos of the deer.Edit: worked fine for 3 months. Stored inside til this deer season. Put camera out with new batteries. Checked it a couple weeks later and no pictures but the batteries were dead. Installed new batteries and camera smelled hot and never powered up. I do not recommend buying this camera even though one still works. Too expensive for 3 months of use.

I must say I’m a little disappointed with the pictures from this camera. Not at all what I had hoped for. Not only is the nighttime movement blurry, so is the daytime movement and not just a little blur, a lot. Now the videos are pretty good. Nice quality photos but was disappointed in how fast the battery life was. I keep it close enough to house so decided to get an outdoor security camera to replace it.
