Great tone, stays in tune, wonder value for price, would buy again!
For a budget explorer this has been great for me. I've had it for about a year and have had no issue or problems. Setup was perfect for me out of the box and I love this guitar.

Cheap
This is a very cheap guitar. The only reason why I bought this is because I wanted to modify my own Explorer. With my own logo on it. I replaced all the electronics, knobs, strings, pickups and Tuners. I have it hanging on my wall with my other guitars. It's a great beginners guitar out of the box. It's a very well built guitar with real wood and no synthetic wood. Hats off to the manufacturer "Zenison" for making a sold guitar.

Project guitar only
It took a lot of work to get playable. Came with a very rough feeling fret board with holes in the wood from the wood they used. The trust rod had to be loosen. The nut was cut too narrow. And the action was too high. If you like the look of it and you like modding and repairing it would be a great project guitar. I do like the sound and the electronic are very old school.I had to get a new nut, repair the holes in the fret board. Smooth out the board. Polish the frets, lower the action, replace the loose tuners, adjust the trust rod, and replace the strings.

Craftsmanship & Playability
I was really surprised on the craftsmanship and tone, both excellent, but what blew me away was the price, simply awesome!π€πΌπΆπΈ

Not a bad guitar, but, it does need a little love
This is a nice guitar IF you know how to, and don't mind doing a little work on it. I'll first mention the issues, then what I did to counter them...The first issue was the neck, well fretboard. The neck itself isn't bad actually, and the frets aren't razors! A super dry fretboard, though that had to be conditioned, then "sanded" with 0000 steel wool. The tuners aren't good. I've already replaced those, and the nut. It's not horrible, but it's not great, either. A Tusq is replacing it.Then there's the wiring... It's not great.I was a little surprised that it has two volume pots, and one tone, not two tones with a volume. Cool for blending in the middle position, but... New electronics are on the way!The other issue is bad wiring. The bridge position shorts out, but a little smack brings it back! After pulling off the pickguard I see why: really light gauge wires, paper tape and a shotty connection. Not a problem as I'm rewiring it and replacing the pickups asap. The pickups are not bad, but not great, either.Intonation is ok, but just needed a few tweaks.Overall, I'm not disappointed. I paid $180 and didn't expect much. I actually bought it as a project guitar to mod out, and got a nice one.Even with the issues out of the box, I'm still happy with it. I played with it for a few days before starting to work on it, and like it even better with the tweaks done so far. I gave it four stars, but really I'd say three and a half, easily.Should you get one? Yes. Just know if you're a seasoned player, it needs a little love. As a beginner? If you don't mind spending a little time learning proper setup, or don't mind having a tech give it a look over etc, go for it!

Playing it right out the box.
The media could not be loaded. It's a great Explorer for its price the action is a little bit higher than what I wanted but that's an easy fix. I figured I would post a video of you playing it straight out of the box so that way people can get a better idea of how it sounds and plays right on the box. Which ain't bad.

Not Your First Guitar
This guitar is absolutely NOT for beginners. The only way to get value out of this instrument is if yr experienced with working on guitars or if you want to pick this up to start learning.Cons:-Sharp fret board edges-Sharp frets-Very poor intonationPros:-Electronics gave me no issues-Guitar is extremely resonantOut of the box it should be only a couple hours of work, but after that it's a pretty fun beater guitar.
