I installed this with simple tools. The one “special” thing needed, that is not included, is plumber’s putty. Luckily, I had some. Easy install in a half hour. Quiet operation. Works very well. Great product.

I replaced my older unit that died the day I ordered this one. I like its stainless steel and powerful, the bonus is it is so quiet you have to listen to hear it run.

Almost sent back, but went ahead and installed it. It came dented. Don't have any idea how or when it happened. Could provide pictures, but why brother.

I purchased this garbage disposal to replace an identical unit that was jammed. The Amazon box that it was shipped in was in perfect condition, but the manufacturer's box, inside the Amazon box, was in poor condition with dented corners and a bottom about to break open. (my observation is that the vendor was taking a chance sending a product that presented so poorly) I decided to open it anyway and found that the garbage disposal was well protected by the manufacturer's packaging. I read the instructions shipped with it before attempting to install, and found there was a tool for freeing jams. I freed the jam in the installed garbage disposal, I now have a spare!

The media could not be loaded. This product is only 3 moths old and it is leaking! 1st insinkerator received had to be returned because it showed up all banged up and broken. This one is not used very often and leaking.

Paid for new Got open box. Aerator works good.

I am very pleased with this InSinkerator. It cost more, but the benefit of the almost silent operation and ease with which it completes the disposal make it the best I have seen. This is a very satisfied customer.
