Thompson Center Accessories 34007054 Ball/Bullet Starter, Deluxe

Typical T/C quality. This is a wood and brass short starter that nicely matches the furniture on my mid-80s T/C Hawken. This item is going to last darned near forever, unless you lose it or something.As another reviewer stated, the only material difference between the "deluxe" version and the regular is the palm saver.If I had a nit, it would be this: there is a lanyard stud on the ball as well. So yes, a good thing to keep your gear together, but it's in kind of an odd spot and tends to get in the way when I'm using this to start a bullet. But that's a minor thing. More significant is that this is a quality piece of gear that deserves every syllable of the Thompson/Center name.

my husband & I both Muzzle load, using the same bullet starter. he broke it! I was upset couldn't find the same one anywhere! Finally found it here on amazon I did buy 2 just in case he broke another! (it was old & he power armed it in a dirty gun! otherwise it probably wouldn't have broke) Awesome starter will be getting a couple more soon other ones do not have the strength or length for my needs!! THANK YOU!

Wood and Brass. Two things that go well with a traditional style T/C muzzleloader. Solid construction and has a nice large surface to palm the starter when applying pressure to push the ball into the barrel.

This is a much better quality starter than I'm used to. I'm happy with the purchase, and it was much cheaper than the other ones I've had in the past that broke during regular duty.
