I was a little apprehensive about spending so much on dried mushrooms but I’m so glad I did. I used them to make a fricasee and the flavour was out of this world. They really do pack a ton of umami hit. I used about 5 for one portion and it was just enough. I could probably make another 3 portions with what’s left. In fact I might have it for tea tomorrow. Will be ordering again.

Good tasting and whole
I used these to make a mushroom risotto and it turned out excellent. Not much grit in these ones compared to.other brands (these are grown in sandy soil). Also they were good quality,whole and tasted great.
