It's still new, but seems to work very nicely...
I bought this unit to replace a 3-year old unit that is very similar in look, function and design. The old unit worked very well, but showed signs of age and use, so I felt it was time to replace it. This new unit appears to be well designed and even a little better. It's probably 50% brighter than the old one and the light shows very well in a full 360º circle of light when you look at it from ANY angle. The old unit worked best ONLY when looking straight at the flasher. If you got to the side of the flasher, it was much less bright. I've only used it for 1 night so far, so I may update this review later.Pros:Very bright for the money. Brighter than my old similar unit.Better cost. My old unit sells for nearly $60, this one was only $45 (and you might find it cheaper if you look around.)Good magnetic contact to the roof. It should hold up well to freeway speeds as well as my old unit did.Offers many more flash patterns and will remember the last flash pattern used. Easy to use on/off switch and pattern select buttons.Appears to be water/rain proof. (Will update as I use it more. We are still getting a lot of rain.)Cons:My old unit had a curled cord. This one is straight. So I have to deal with extra cord that kind of gets in the way. The curled cord seems to work better for my needs. The rubber footings that protect the car roof from the metal magnets are a little thin. Much thinner than my old unit's rubber cups. I am afraid they might wear thru with use and age. (Time will tell.)But all in all, I am very pleased with this new flasher. The brightness is much better and I feel like I'm seen better when I need to use it for on sight lighting inspections late at night when I'm driving thru truck yards and I want to make sure I'm seen. For the price, I'm not sure you can find a much better flash unit.I will update as needed to report any new items of note.Update: I’ve had this unit for 2 years now. It still works like new and has suffered little for any wear. In fact, it sits on top of my car 24/7/365 ... much of the time out in the sun and/or elements. All without much, if any signs of wear or aging. It’s well worth the price.

Quality And Features For Price Point Are Outstanding
The media could not be loaded. I've only had this light for less than a week Soni can't speak to it durability. It has however been through a large rainstorm at highway speeds followed by a hard frost the following night and has no apparent issue with inside condensation/water intrusion. The magnets are strong and I believe the recommended max speed was 45mph but I took the chance on my own and hit speeds of 65 with no problem and no movement of the product. The rubber covers on the magnets are a very nice touch and do a good job of protecting your cars finish. The cord is of a good enough length that I was able to place the light on a midsize car and still be able to neatly run the cord on the interior and have enough left to reach the 12v outlet but that obviously won't be the case for everyone. I see a lot of reviews dinging this light on ratings because of its brightness. It is true to some degree. This light is not the best or the brightest for that matter. As a matter of fact in full light on a sunny day it is hard to make out at all. However of you are in any sort of shade this light really starts to pop and if it's later in the the afternoon it really shines and anything close to later and this unit is amazing. If you want solid and bright performance in full sun then don't buy this light, tear it in the reviews and talk about how dissatisfied you are. Quit being so cheap and put down a couple of hundred dollars on a Whelen light bar and you'll have what you want. For the price of this light, coupled with what you get is actually pretty impressive. I bought it not expecting half of what I actually got. It seems well built and the LED's are bright, crisp and clear. Thus far I'm very satisfied. The first three photos show the light being used in full direct sunlight, then partial shade followed by use in later afternoon hours. The video shows night time use.

Great light for the price!
Now to be straight-forward, this is probably the best strobe light I've owned so far, and for less than 50 dollars! Trust me, I've gone through plenty of lights and have been quite disappointed (blown fuses, crappy cord lengths, weak lights etc.). Now, onto the pros and cons!:Pros:-LONG cord-Toggle switch with various strobe light options.-On/off switch, with the ability to memorize the last used pattern.-BRIGHT lights-Strong waterproof casing (My first use of this light was during a strong rain storm, on the job, and on the road going over 50 MPH)-Great magnetic retention. My personal opinion on other people's problems with it, I believe it depends on the type of vehicle you have, and the base you use to stick your magnets to. If you're just sticking this on top of a modern Toyota Corolla vs. and F350 Ford Super Duty work truck, one will stick stronger than the other due to the materials the vehicle is made out of.-Small enough to stick to the very top of a headache rack or a vehicle's rooftop. It was so small, it literally fits inside your typical Amazon Locker boxes.-Economically priced. This will definitely not break the bank to buy.Cons:-This strobe light uses the same AC adapter head like the previous strobe light that I had that had fuse issues, and it was a little concerning but I'm willing to give this light a chance.I will update if anything changes and if there's anything else that I may note. I will also try to get a video/photos of this light in use.
