Writing instruments can be very subjective. For me, this pen is immensely comfortable. It’s light but solid in hand, it has some heft but well balanced, beautifully machined brass with a very pretty and very dark green finish. The knurling for the fingers is grippy but not intrusive or uncomfortable. A mechanical and pleasant click is included as well. In just a few hours it has become my favorite pen in my modest, work horse oriented collection that includes common go-to’s like cross, multiple fisher’s, and even the trusty bic cristal.I did some research before purchasing the pen due to the complaints that the ink refill is lacking. It performs and lays down ink, it is also very smooth writing. However, it truly is lacking. I insist on a bold point and want a lot of ink on page while writing. After all it’s a ballpoint so even being left handed, smudging isn’t an issue for me with bold ballpoints.The research yielded an excellent result for me: Pelikan 337 Giant. I purchased one of the pelikan refills (bold, blue ink) when i purchased the pen and couldn’t be happier. It is identical in outside dimensions and drops in with zero issues. The pelikan 337 giant (bold) isn’t quite as bold as i would ideally prefer but i honestly don’t care. It’s a good unit, regardless.Don’t go with some Fisher-adapter-jerry-rigged nonsense. Shell out the ten bucks for the pelikan and be happy. It turns a great pen with a mediocre refill into an amazing complete package. 10/10

God, I love these pens. The weight, the balance, the knurling, everything feels great with these. This is my third one and in addition to the green one, I also have the red and silver metal ones. I’ll probably get more! lol. I also like a wider line so have been replacing the ink with Monteverde ceramic gel broad blue refills.

You have to write with it to appreciate the design. The weight, the balance, the material, everything necessary, no flare, very solid feeling. Add a writing pad the pen will glide on paper butter smoothly.

It's the perfect pen. Team it with a Schmidt 9000 refill, and you can thank me tomorrow

Love my pen. Sometimes it's the small things like this that make life a little easier. When you carry a pen every day, why not have a good one? It's my edc pen that rides side by side with my edc small streamlight in my front left shirt pocket.

At first I thought it was black, then I laid it next to other black stuff in my desk ... its definitely green. Love it.The grip is excellent, pen isn't bulky or heavy. Ink that came with it seems to be doing okay after 2 days so I would say it writes well. If it turns out to be bad later I have gel ink refills ready to go.Very pleased with this Rotring 600 pen.Yep, I did overpay, but I've wanted one for several years and now they're doing colors. So why not?

Purchased on sale and now I'd pay full price if I ever lost it. Great pen. Tough enough to ride in my shirt pocket everyday on the jobsite.
