I caught at bass on the second cast. I threw it across a grassy area and a bass hit it hard. I have since caught several more. It’s a great top water bait and makes a very enticing “plopping pop” sound. They are of good quality and the price is right. But more importantly they stand behind their product. I had an issue with one of the three lures in the package. I contacted customer support and they sent me a new one. I will be buying from this company again

Good quality

These are a great alternative to more expensive name-brand lures, if you're looking to plop whoppers (if you know what I mean). They're not as durable as the premium ones, but at 1/3 the price, you can afford to snap a propeller bouncing one off a rock every now and again. They move on top of the water just like the brand name ones, too, and bass seem to like the action and appearance. I'm not sure what fish the colors are supposed to look like, but the bass and pickerel don't seem to care. The hooks are great, and they're a decent size. I've hooked up 3-4lb largemouths on these, with no damage.

I saw these lures and had to have them. I love using surface lures. The very first time I used them, they have great action, BUT, when I got snagged in weeds (I thought were minor) the rear plastic propellers broke off. You can still do the "walk the dog" with the lure now, but I got them for the propeller action.

Great lure for the cost. Works well. Makes almost as much splash as my son's $20.00 lure.

These are topwater lures with a single propeller that makes a noise over the water, and splashes, too. Nice colors, although the fish cannot see the colors when looking up at the surface. What the fish see is a silhouetted form, with splashes and vibrations which triggers them to strike. The pictures show two propeller blades, but in reality, it's just one propeller blade, so that each time the prop hits the water, it is easily distinguishable. The hooks are wicked-sharp. Just changing to a different color and brushing up against the lure, my hand got caught by the hook points. I've already tried the bass color and the rainbow trout color. They perform much like the original whopper-plopper.
