The piece looks awesome and was relatively easy to install. One giving it 4 stars because it only came with half the number of screws. I did not realize this until I was in th act of fastening plate to door.

My hubby installed this stainless steel kickplate, and we both love how it upgrades the look of the front door, which is what we were going for. It's a substantial piece of metal with a beautiful satin finish, and it's like a piece of jewelry on the front of our house. It's fairly easy to install with screws, which are included. He marked the door and drilled small pilot holes before actually drilling in the screws to attach the kickplate. It did arrive with a small bend in one of the corners, but he gently corrected it with a rubber hammer, and it doesn't show at all. I had actually installed the exact same kickplate on a previous house and loved it so much that I knew exactly the one I would purchase this time. I highly recommend THIS one!

A gunsmith told me that this product would take the light scratches off of an antique pistol. It worked great, without damaging the finish.

To protect our front door. Kids and adult always kicking the bottom of the door. Very protective. Much thicker and better quality from previous plate.

Both kick plates came with a bent corner. Same corner. Impossible to flatten out. I do not recommend purchasing these.
