I am perfectly happy with this product. It mounts on tripod easily and has the universal thread size and pitch for this application. It is adjustable to easily adapt to most any size cell phone and it holds the phone securely. The high quality of the materials gives the appearance that it will hold up well for a low demand user such as myself who won't put the demands a professional might subject it to and at a small fraction of the cost of a professional grade device.

I have small tripods I use for making youtube videos. Occasionally I need to use my full size camera tripod. Needed an adapter to hold my Iphone. This works great.

I have an iPhone 11 with a case. The tripod adapter fit the iPhone with the case and it’s very sturdy. You need either an adapter to put it on a tripod ball head or you need to screw it directly on a mini tripod without a ball head. The adapter moves around like a click but not up and down. You shouldn’t have a problem getting the correct angle though.

If you just want to securely attach your phone to a normal tripod, this adapter does the job at a great price. It is a simple design using materials that look solid, and it functions as you would want it to. Why spend more money for something similar.

Much better than my old spring loaded one. A couple twists and it is holding securely, then back out again without any struggle, unlike the spring loaded ones.
