It's okay
The seams are a little... not great. Bubbles escape from most of them. But it seems to still do the job.

Decent little filter - does the job
The media could not be loaded. Day two of this little filter. My all-female tank guppy ended up having surprise babies and by the time I recognised they were actual fish and not tadpoles (first time having fish…) I panic-scooped them into my old betta bowl. It got cloudy quick but I don’t want to invest in a large tank until I separate the males from females. I just needed a smallish filter/bubbler and so far this seems to be working. The first pic shows how cloudy the water was the next morning after adding the babies into the betta bowl. Bubble surface in the second image. The bubbles are larger than I expected but they honestly aren’t a problem. In fact, the fry love riding them and playing in them. My cherry shrimpid also much happier. (And oxygenated. I feel horrible.)Third pic shows how much it’s cleared on the second day, though it’s hard to tell since I moved the bowl away from the window. But I can definitely tell a difference. So far so good. Will report back if it doesn’t keep working.P.s. Bought a small air pump and tube meant for a separate small stone bubbler. Just cut the tube in half and added the included check valve (none of which is included with this filter) and it works just fine.

Mini-Sponge Aquarium Filter...
I purchased this for my three gallon hospital tank. I keep the sponge soaking in my ten gallon aquarium, so that when I need to set up the hospital tank, it can cycle quickly. This little filter works perfectly, when I need to treat my fish for fin rot or other diseases, so that I don't hurt the plants, shrimp, and snails in my tank.My fish recover quickly when given a salt bath in the hospital tank, along with any other treatment they may need when "hospitalized."No complaints at all with this filter.

Does the job for my small desktop shrimp tank
I purchased for my small desktop shrimp tank at work. I choose this filter due to it being a usb plug since I have to use a rechargeable battery at work, the small size and the dual function of a filter and adding oxygen to the water. Only con is the suction cup has come loose from the glass a few times in the few months I've owned it. This is concerning cause it could land on my shrimp.

Simple modifications makes this a great mini tank asset
The media could not be loaded. This design is used by several brands but hopefully this message reaches youBy taking a pice of rubber hosing (thicker grade such as external filter hosing) that was thicker on the putter diameter and smaller inner diameter increased the air flow and shrunk the bubblesMaking the outward flow smaller forces air out faster which moves the water at a better rate gaining you more suction from your sponge keep in mind I have to clean my filter much more often but I’d rather do that than have a larger sponge filter or other filter in my tankAll in all great buy for the cost just don’t plan on using it in anything more than a gallon

good backup filter
im using this on a power outage backup solution, i like its compact size but would love to see a swivel or 90 degree suction mount. the filter does work but the flow has some to be desired. overall, if you have a 5 gallon or smaller aquarium, this filter is nice as it can be hidden easier than standard sponges.

Keeps tank clean, but will not stick to side.
I got this for my 5 gallon tank. I've had it for about a month. Overall, I'm pleased. It does keep the water fresh and I don't worry about my betta's fins. However, the suction cup will NOT stick. The item is heavy enough that it still stays underwater, and I've completely given up on trying to get it to stay to the side of the glass.Although it works okay, it would probably be better suited for a smaller tank. Also, note that you NEED to purchase an air pump separately for it.

Not horrible, but much better options available
It is ok, but not great. Due to the design it takes up a lot of space in the tank. You are better off with the traditional sponge filter design as they have more suction power and filter better. The traditional versions also seem to have much better quality foam. I ended up replacing these with traditional style corner sponge filters and they do a much better job.
