HALLELUJAH, IT WORKS!
I, like many reviewers on here, have had trouble deciphering how much broth to drink each day, but I've been following Stash One to the line, and within 5 days, I've lost 10 pounds. I weighed myself three times this morning, and that's exactly what it read. Ten lbs down. I drink one mug of broth, about one cup, a day, and have had snacks inbetween most meals. I rarely feel hungry, and when I do, I drink warm lemon water. It helps! The all-organic, non-GMO diet is very expensive for one person! I have no idea of how I can bring my husband on board when he gets back in a few months, but it will be interesting! The recipes are delicious and you get a lot of food with each meal, a cup of veggies, half a cup of carbs and half a cup of protein. The beef bones are expensive. Bought them at Wholefoods and they were over 16 dollars! For bones! It's worth it once in a while, but the whole chicken is a better option, as you can make the most delicious chicken salad with the meat! It's absolutely scrumptious! The meatloaf is to die for, but I didn't use ground lamb, just beef. I bought the grass fed ground beef at Walmart! Both packages were less than 7 dollars each, so that was nice. This is an expensive plan, but it will do your body wonders. Truly. My heartburn is gone, and I have GERD. Haven't had a flare up since I started this. The cooking takes a while. It's the prepping that slows me down, but if I do a little bit at a time, it's not that bad. I cooked the first Stash in one go, and it took me 3 hours. I have a toddler, so that won't always work! Overall, this is a great plan. Even if you can't afford everything organic (I spent 275 dollars on my first trip, buying all the staples like the ume plum vinegar and coconut flour, etc. along with the meat and veggies for the 1st Stash), if you do the stretches, they alone will help your body. The book doesn't say how often, but I'm guessing daily. I've only done about 4 stretches once. Some of the poses were difficult! But once I lose more weight, I think they will help give me a boost when I plateau. If you feel sluggish and just "blah," give this a try. It does work!

easy to read and understand
The Stash Plan: Your 21-Day Guide to Shed Weight, Feel Great, and Take Charge of Your HealthVery informative, easy to read and understand, and recipes are simpler than they seem and very easy to follow.I would suggest purchasing the book instead of the Kindle version. There are shopping lists, a list of kitchen utensils, recipes, meal suggestions for 7 "stashes" and 11 stretches. Too much to manage in the grocery store and in the kitchen with a Kindle . With a book, you can mark and or copy pages. If you love to cook this is fabulous. I'm so-so with cooking so I had to follow the recipes to a tee. However, once I got started, I found the preparation was much easier than it seemed.Cons - 1) purchasing the the ingredients can get expensive. It recommends organic and other ingredients can only be found in the "health food" sections. 2) It's difficult to find the bones for the broth so I've only done the chicken bone broth. 3) It could be a little clearer on how to put your own stashes together. I'm kind of following the suggested meal plans which isn't all bad, but after a while I'm sure it will get boring. 4) Don't know how to eat out or what to do if you're traveling.Pros - 1) The recipes are easy to follow and very tasty. 2) There's really not a lot of clean up. 3) It does seem to take the cravings away pretty quickly. 4) It's not like diet food. My friends surprisingly love it, although they would have never thought of eating it. 5) It's not strict. She suggests a 80/20 plan so you don't feel like you're cheating if you don't stick to it 100%.Hope she writes a cookbook and provides a formula for creating your own stashes.
