Purchased this to replace some cracked trim on my camper and it worked amazing! I just measuring the old one for size. Ordered on Amazon and then installed it. I listened to other reviews to place it in the sun prior to installing it so that it ismore flexible, which we did and we were done in 10 minutes. It’s durable, looks smooth and great like the original, the seal was tight but easy to install. Great price for the money.

I picked this up to swap out some damaged trim on my camper and it turned out great. I measured the old piece to make sure the fit was right, ordered it online, and had it installed quickly. Based on what others suggested, I left it out in the sun beforehand to soften it up a bit, which made the process even easier. The whole job took about ten minutes from start to finish. The material feels sturdy and has a clean, polished look that matches the original trim. The seal was snug but went on without a struggle. For the cost, it’s a solid value and definitely worth it.

Advertised as 1". Actual dimension of product received was closer to 7/8". INTENDED PURPOSE: 5th Wheel RV Gutter Trim RECOMMENDATION: We have a 5th wheel. Its an older model that came with the standard plastic trim. It has fallen apart after 10 years. Brittle; Cracked; Split; Faded; Falling out of the track. Thought we would try rubber this time. On initial inspection, I was concerned because it stated is was 1" trim. Actual measurement was closer to 7/8". The rubber seems to be a decent quality. It is a bit stiff and will wear your fingers out as you install it. Each side run on our RV is 40'. Times two, I needed 80'. Taking the old trim out was easy. It was brittle and cracked anyway. No sense in being gentle with it. After removing the old trim, it took about 1 hour per side to change working from an extension ladder. The new rubber molding is stiff. It looks great. We purchased the black trim. It 'looks' like it will definitely outlast the previous molding. I/we would recommend that when you need to replace your gutter trim molding, this is a great alternative and very cost effective. Be patient while you're installing. Insert into the bottom track first. Work about 4" at a time. Do your best to fold it as you go. Clean the track with a small vinyl brush first or as you go. Verify that you have it inserted fully into the track. You don't want to have to pull it back out. This is not a hard job. Almost anyone could do it. One suggestion...Do this on a relatively warm day (I did ours when it was about 50 degrees F. and sunny. I unrolled the rubber out ahead of time to let the sun warm it up. That made it a bit easier to work with). At this point, I would buy this product again should I need more. OVERALL RATING: 4 Stars. I would give it 5 stars but need time to see how it does in the heat and cold for expansion and contraction properties. We need to make sure it stays in the track. Installed on 03/15/24. Will report back at a later date.

Easy to install, fit perfectly. Replaced 5 year old cracked and split trim on the camping trailer’s front end cap. Just what we needed.

Edit: Old review of STANDARD product: 2 stars: They call it 1", but it is not the same, it is about 1/16" shorter between the rails, so it will lay at a different position than the original. You can use it, but if you are repairing old, it will require you to run sealant over the transition so there is not a gap between the two. Edit: NEW review of HEAVY DUTY variant: 5 STARS: I had to buy more and saw that the heavy duty was getting good reviews, so I ordered 100 feet. THIS VARIANT IS MUCH BETTER!. The standard variety was plastic and I think will fail like the original material. This is more rubbery but still shiny, matches the old dimensions better, except is even thicker than original, and best of all, is very easy to install. I didn't try to pull it through the rail like last time, I simply pulled the old out, and started at one end, laying the bottom in the rail first, then bending the material so I could push it into the top part of the rail. It definitely wants to stay with no problem. I was able to do 35 feet in about 1/2 hour, spending more time going up and down the ladder than actually installing it. MUCH better. DO NOT BUY STANDARD, get HEAVY DUTY, and you might as will get 100 feet, you're going to need to keep replacing the original stuff as it fails. 5 stars! I think the heavy duty will last MUCH longer.

Arrived in a couple days, very heavy duty and flexible rubber like substance," not plastic". Went on with ease and looks great. Time will tell on longevity. Doing the 90 degree bends on the back of unit were a bit of a struggle do to thickness, but with a little patience I got it inserted. This is now my go to insert trim brand.

was able to replace the split and plastic one on my cargo trailer. These are more rubbery not plastic and were easily installed The industry standard is 1 inch so fit my trailer exactly. 50 feet was more than I needed but if my trailer is still here in 20 years i will have enough for that
