Best resin out there.
I, like a few other people, went from one brand to another looking for good resin. I watched a ton of tutorials, and never could get other brands to work the way I had wanted them to. One day, I came across a Myriam tutorial for jewelry. After watching several videos of her using the Clearcast 7050, and other YouTubers as well, I was sold and ordered my first kit. It was a smaller one. I used it all pretty fast, so I had to order more. I've ordered a handful of times now, and I love this resin. I never have issues with it curing and being flexible or bendy, like I've had others do. It is crystal clear. Hardly a bubble to be seen, and nothing a quick spritz of alcohol can't tackle. The resin plays nicely with colorants too. I've used mica, acrylic paint, and ink and haven't had any problems at all. Their customer service is top notch, too. Through zero fault of theirs, I had to inquire about a missing package. FedEx fumbled, not The Epoxy Resin Store. But, they were extremely prompt in dispatching a replacement. The process was fast, simple, and I felt very much like they cared about my experience as a customer. They've earned my loyalty tenfold. When I've had people ask about resin, I tell them about this specific one. The price point is a bit high, but you get what you pay for and Clearcast 7050 is high quality stuff!

Very CLEAR! And great for jewelry.
Love this resin for jewelry! No bubbles & very clear.(Side note: Don't use it for making things like coasters or anything that needs to take some abuse. It is pretty brittle...I have used leftover resin for thinly poured decoration-type stuff that cracked while getting them out of mold...but this resin is FANTASTIC for jewelry!)

Best Resin!
I've been playing with resins for a while now, everything from casting, art pours to flooring, and this is by far the BEST one I've tried. (I've tried about 8 different brands) First off, it has no odor. Big plus! It sets up quickly, and I was able to pull off my test pieces in about 6 hours, though I went ahead and let it fully cure for 24 hours on most pieces. Most resins show scratches fairly easily and if you're using it for a counter or flooring, you then have to sand it out and re-pour over it to really get it out. This one did scratch when I pressed a nail across it, but it did not show prominently, and I couldn't even make any kind of mark with my own finger nails. If it has any down side it might be that you have to mix a minimum of 2-3 ounces at a time for it to properly set up correctly. This isn't an issue for me since I generally do large batches at a time, but if someone is just a hobbyist and wants to do little pours this might not be for you.I've already ordered myself another gallon of this stuff, I know I'll use it!

Good Product, TERRIBLE Company
The product itself is 5 stars all the way. I made MANY beautiful products from it--tumblers, keychains, keepsakes! I teach a crafting class and this had actually been my go-to.The customer service of the vendor? PITIFUL. They enjoy dragging inquiries out as long as possible to avoid fulfilling their promises. They swear it's because they receive many emails, but the loop of constant pretense of not knowing what's going on, quickly wears thin. They literally reply to almost every email... They just pretend they aren't sure how to proceed and the situation ends up taking months to resolve instead of days. The epoxy is great but I'd go with another company just in case something went wrong, because these guys can sell epoxy but they have no clue beyond that. Also other vendors ship much faster.

A bit runny
After using a few different brands I was expecting the product to move a bit slower when applied, like honey, but it was very liquidy. I make expoxy tumblers and had trouble with this dripping heavily off the sides and the coats were a bit thinner than I'd like.Overall the product is nice, just not perfect for my needs. One of the things I like is that it cures fast. Within 3-5 hours the epoxy is no longer sticky to the touch. Many other brands have been sticky for 12+ hours so I liked that about this epoxy brand.

My go-to resin
I use this on my spinner items i.e. hummingbird feeders and small functional art bottles. I've begun purchasing large bottles but use in smaller qty's, so to get around the 2-1 ratio, I use condiment (get good quality ones, not dollar store) bottles - works great. I've also used it over my flat art pieces with good effect. The only thing I've not had good luck with is in casting molds - I can't seem to get rid of the bubbles. It may well be me, but whenever I pour out my extra resin into jewelry molds there's always bubbles despite torching, lighters, 91% alcohol. On the up side, I used it as a finish over a wooden painting and it worked great, so it's something about me and molds.

This is a casting resin. Not a doming resin.
The media could not be loaded. Clearcast resins are picky. This 7050 resin cures hard which is something I can’t say for the clearcast 7000 which I also purchased. But you can’t torch it. And for the 7000 it reacts poorly to some of my liquid pigments. The consistency is nice to use for both, very liquidy and easy to mix. But you cannot add heat to this resin. If you use a flame or a torch to pop bubbles after doming you will get these weird wiggles on the finish of your piece because of it. I tried a heat gun last night and still ended up with this texture. You may use this for casting without issues. But do not ruin your pieces by doming with it. I have to use my Superclear brand resin for doming on top of this now.

Great Crafting Resin
This is my favorite resin. It has a good long working time 40-50 minutes, sets quickly to a very hard state. The resin is clear, bright and shiny!!! I love it.
