I am so pleased with this food. My Blue and Gold Macaw is over 30 years old and has eaten one of the "fruity" types of pellets for much of that time. She has always wasted a lot of the pieces, but I chalked it up to just being the way she ate. I'd tried another pellet recommended by my vet and she absolutely hated them and would dump them straight onto the floor. When Amazon was unable to fill my subscription for the fruity pellets last time, I decided to try Lafeber. What a difference! She is eager for her pellets and rarely drops any of it. She seems happier and more playful. I'm really glad we made the switch.

I have been feeding my Macaw from this food for a year now. At first he didn't like this food for two months. But then he started to like it and eat a lot. Of course you need to give him few from this food mixed with other pellet foods, because birds don't like to eat from same food every day, they like to taste other kind of foods. But in general Pellet is the best food for parrots, it is very healthy for them. And of course Lafeber Premium is one of the best food for parrots.

I rescued a neglected umbrella cockatoo who’s never been fed a proper diet. Not only does she now have a clean bill of health, feather growth, and is now a healthy weight, she loves these nutritious pellets! Where she would throw other brands of pellets out of her cage, she actually eats these! Excellent value!

She’s now 34 years old and LOVES these Pellets. She’s never been sick a day in her life! I can’t recommend Lafeber’s Pellets enough!

Its notoriously difficult to change parrots' diets. For example, I got my bird to eat home made mash for a while, but it took a lot of effort and eventually after like a year she didn't want it any more.Of all the pellets we have tried over the years, these seem work the best. Other than sunflower seeds, my Cockatoo actually seems to LIKE these, BUT only if they are wet. She dips them in her water bowl and I will find one in the bottom usually that she 'lost' which makes her water kind of dirty.Lately, we have been putting a few pellets in a shallow saucer with a tiny bit of water which they soak up and I have to say, that has been working out well. I am mentioning this for those that are "stuck" with a bucket their parrot 'won't eat' in case it helps.

Pleased to some degree. I looked on the description section of the product, never stated that the pellets were as big as they are. Usually sites will have a picture of the pellets in actual size. I went out on a limb and was disappointed that they are as big as they are. Free shipping was great. Service was also good.

I have two birds. A hahns macaw and a white capped pionus parrot. Neither if them wanted anything to do with these. Instant rejection/drop when I handed them one. I put a few in their food bowls and that is always left when it’s time to change out the seeds. Nothing wrong with the product itself, my birds just wanted nothing to do with it.
