It's a Burger Press
I didn't want a big, fancy, 'stuff-me', levers-and-things burger press, I wanted something simple, wouldn't take up too much room, and get the job done burger press while keeping my hands slime-free. That is exactly what I got! I would have preferred that the base were metal as well, for durability, but the flexibility of the plastic has it's uses. Put simply, it works.

Useless item! Not worth the try!
I usually don't write reviews but I felt the desire to write one about this item. If I had the option to give 0 star, I would be happier.If you really care about your time and money, forget about this item.My problem with this item is that the meat sticks and it is really hard to get it out without making a mess out of it.You could easily use your hands and a couple of small items in your kitchen to make a much better burger.

Good enough.
not as heavy as I expected. (weight wise) Works better if you put the meat in a zip lock bag before putting in to press. (meat won't stick to the ridges.) I use it that way and freeze burgers in mass.

I liked it. Did the job
I liked it. Did the job. Like some others, I had difficulty taking out the patty in one piece. If you have this problem, my suggestion is to use a produce bag from the grocery store. The kind you would use for veggies. I don't think there's any way to prevent the sticking, so this would be a solution. Take it or leave it as you'd like.

Sticks to the bottom
Burgers stick to the bottom and I have to slam it down to get them out. Maybe teflon coat the bottom layer!

No good for Tuna Burgers
When I bought this I did it because I wanted to make some tuna burgers. This product definitely wont work for soft or sticky meat.
