Wonderful product. Aluminium frame made this product awesome. Very informative.

Overall good product. Was expecting a plastic frame, but was pleasantly surprised to find a metal frame. Slightly rusted below the equator, but overall good. The accuracy of the map is adequate. There is some misalignment in the gores,but withing acceptable limits. Overall tje globe is good for the price.

The quality is decent. Looks aesthetic and also is easy to read. Very informative for school going kids. The only drawback is not all the countries and clearly mentioned due to lack of space. The size of the globe is a little too small to accomodate all the text. Also the joints are a little wobbly.

We bought the 10" diameter globe, and it is quite appropriate size for home - neither too small nor too big. The sphere itself is well made, and has a colorful map. To my limited knowledge, with no special expertise in geography, the map seems accurate. We bought the combo of globe + magnified glass. I was a bit worried about how the colors on the globe might look since there seemed to be varying colors in different pictures of the product. But the colors in the product we got are good/attractive, not dull. I was also concerned about the issue that I read somewhere of some countries or their names getting misaligned due to overlapping of the pieces of the map, but there is no such issue in the globe we received. Having said that, the chrome/metal part that supports the sphere needs improvement. The finishing does not look quite good, and the base is somewhat sharp - probably not too sharp to cut some skin, but definitely not comfortable to hold, though we likely need to hold the base only occasionally. Moreover, when put on a bare floor and moved around, the base makes a screeching sound that's quite irritating. The manufacturer could have put some thin rubber cover at the base to avoid that noise and also to make the base more stable. Another issue is that, while we rotate the globe as we use, after some rotations, the screw at the bottom gets loosened, so the base becomes loosened. We need to tighten that screw. This is happening repeatedly. These are the issues due to which I didn't give full 5 stars. If they can be rectified, it will be a perfect product. Attached a few pics.

Product came missing the base, packaged is a dirty old carton box (i bought is as a gift and it was embarassing).

the globe came in a box that was wrapped in tape, so i thought that was just a rough packaging and that there would be a product box inside. but no. the globe sat inside it in bubble wrap. and it was broken. it had a crack running right through it. im gonna have to return it now
