The "frequently bought together" items are automated. The reason they show together is because a certain number of people literally bought them at the same time as this item. This isn't an implication that they're compatible with one another, and frankly, only a child or a nitwit would assume otherwise. The type of people that actually assume stuff like this, are the exact reason why advertisers have to put in small text "Not actual size" underneath the photo of the gigantic hamburger patty on the front of the box. Letting them know that the hamburger patties inside the box aren't actually 8" in diameter (the photo is actually just an enlargement)

Q: Can it be used with bike chain degreaser?

If the bike chain degreaser is lo viscosity (like a light oil) then I don't see any reason why it would not work.

Q: Will this hold up to acetone? Has anyone tried this for acetone based penetrating oil?

It clearly says to not use with corrosive chemicals. Acetone is a corrosive chemical. You may consider not using it with this product
