Love this luggage!
I bought the 21in and the 26in cases. I’m weary over zipper closure luggage. I’m always just waiting for the zipper to fail or for the zippers’ webbing to rip. The fact that this has an aluminum frame and solid aluminum hinges is awesome. So secure feeling. These cases are built really tough. The wheels work great on all kinds of surfaces. Maybe not the best on cobble stones, but this is a matter of physics that effect ALL wheels of this size. These always maneuver great in the many travels I’ve taken them on. The exterior holds up very well to the rigors of checked baggage too. It has a TSA approved three digit combination lock which is cool. It’s not going to deter a professional thief since anybody can get a TSA key. But it does prevent casual snoops and unintended opening of the case. The drawbacks are they do not expand, so what you see is what you get. You also trade some weight for sturdiness. The 21in is 9 lbs, whereas most comparably sized zippered polycarbonate cases are 7-7.5 lbs. for US domestic travel this isn’t a big deal, but it makes a difference for international travel where the weight restrictions are more limiting. All in all I think these are super cases.

Favorite Luggage, Perfect Size, Durable, Beautiful Design
Excellent buy and just the right size. Very durable despite the airlines best attempts. I fly a lot so we'll see long term. Excellent design with latches instead of zippers and YES, the TSA Locks work fine. They're a bit flashy so if you're looking for low-key luggage they may not be for you. Make sure you buy luggage straps to secure them -- and also to make them easy to spot on the carousel. I have two of them and am buying another for a family gift, so clearly I'm a fan.

Zipperless and sturdy
This is the companion piece to one I bought earlier. They are sturdy and stylish. However, they have very little give. So, if you are an over-packer, you might have trouble with these. I bought them because they have a built-in combination lock and no zippers. I like the fact that you can't pop a zipper to get in. You would have to take a pry bar to get in. So far, the locks have held. They do tend to scratch some. But, the shell is sturdy and there have been no cracks. The four wheels take the weight off of your back and they roll easily. I have yet, however, to test drive them on cobblestones or a rough surface. Overall, they have the typical Samsonite quality.

The locking mechanism broke during its first flight.
This is a nice suitcase, but I have to give it one star because it broke the first time I used it. The TSA inspected the bag at the airport. The TSA lock did not relock. I had to use a strap on my return. After my return, when I tried to close it, one of the latches would not close. The suitcase is now useless. I contacted the Samsonite on their website, but received no response.

Quality & Convenience
These are neat and organized suitacases. Bought one for myself and the wife, nice individual colors. They have a code lock with a convenient bypass for immigration if necessary and are durable. I dropped mine in January and it slid all the way down the stairs with minimal scuffs and no serious damage. Very easy to identify on the luggage carraige after a flight. Easy to keep under the 50lb limit to avoid extra weight fee also. Happy with this product 😁

Latches are the weak point
Update: Initially, this was great luggage but the latches have broken and when attempting to contact Samsonite for repair due to it having a warranty they initially shipped the wrong part and when called back after it taking 3 weeks to get the wrong part they said it would be 5-7 days before the part would ship. Samsonite also charges $10 for shipping of parts no bigger than an envelope and then charge for the parts themselves. Original: This is an excellent product that so far has made to through a few trips to Africa. This may not sound like a huge win for this suitcase but they don't have the nice unloading methods like many of the US or European airports. So most of the time, instead of gently putting your bag on a ramp or a belt system, you just watch it fall 8-10 feet to the ground or awaiting trailer. While it does scuff, there's not much that I wouldn't have anticipated when buying a suitcase of this material. Anyhow, luggage is meant to be used no to be a show piece so this luggage does an excellent job of keeping my belongings safe and being able to pack and organize well. So if you are in need of a nice suitcase with a sturdy metal frame instead of the one with zippers I highly recommend it.

Plastic is not durable.
This is a really nice suitcase. Small and light. The plastic cracked just above the side handle in the radius. I'm left trying to epoxy it to try and get a reasonable life out of a very expensive suitcase.

Sweet suitcase
I travel a lot And this is one of the most secure bags I've had , next to my travel pro which was a quiet a bit more expensive. No need to worry about someone using a pen to break into your bag. Unlike zippered bags. Check out YouTube to see how easy it is. Also the finish is really durable no visible scrapes or scratches after one trip. Used multiple times and still looks good. Bring back glass is not a problem with this case. The only thing for some is that it does not expand or get bigger. But I really prefer the security over hauling too much back.
