This was an incredibly beautiful clock for the price. It looks like a million. Well worth your hard earned money.

I am typing this on my mom’s account. For my birthday, she had bought me this clock since I was into antique Victorian stuff, etc.Me and my grandpa had set this up, and every day, I go up to read it and watch the beautiful pendulum swinging. This is also surprisingly accurate by the seconds. This also matches well with a lot of things.

Each day we have to reset the time. Since it doesn't keep time and it is a clock, the score must be a one. Can't rate a clock that doesn't keep time and higher.

The clock is gorgeous. It does not come assembled or with instructions. So now I just have expensive clock pieces.

The only thing about this clock is that there is no glass in the opening where the pendulum hangs. It looks great with our decor, love the easy to read clock face, and the pendulum is quiet. Great value.

My great-grandparents had an old style Grandfather clock in the dining room next to the living room. When I was a they would babysit me, and I remember taking naps on the “Davenport,” listening to the ticking of that clock. When they passed away, the clock was given to my grandparents and the same thing. I remember that ticking, it helped me focus and it helped me pass the time while reading books. When I decided to buy a clock for my office, I wanted a clock that had an audible tick and the pendulum could be heard while it swayed. Apparently, this is not a desirable thing, and so I looked for a clock where the reviews said it was too loud. This was one of them. But unfortunately, the clock is dead silent, which might be great for most people, but I guess I’m just stuck with a nice quiet clock now.

Even though the clock is made of plastic, the wood grain looks real. The lack of written directions for minimal assembly of the clock can be easily rectified. I would recommend that. Bye in large, it was a great purchase and I hope it has a long valued life.

Really enjoy the clock . Have it on top of our china cabinet, matches up real well.
