Great kit for my homemade flag pole. Very sturdy although the clips for the flag part and the grommets could be a little bit bigger.

This is a fairly inexpensive unit. I didn’t say cheap. It looks good, works well, and is easy to install. If I were raising and lowering my flag regularly, I might consider something else but for now and hopefully for the foreseeable future it’s a good buy. I purchased this unit, top solar light and flag at the same time. People who have seen it are impressed.

I have a 25 foot tall telescoping flagpole in my front yard that kept collapsing in high winds and I also could not fly at half staff when wanting to so I purchased this hardware kit. After extending the pole back to full height and installing a screw in each section, I mounted the this hardware kit. This was very easy to do and took only 15-20 minutes including setting the pole back in the ground and mounting and raising the flags. I had purchased the smaller flagpole truck with pulley and it was still about a quarter inch too big on the inside diameter (the reason for 4 stars) but, after the ball and escutcheon screws were tightened it seems to hold well. It’s now a lot easier to remove the flags for replacement and to fly at half staff. I’m happy with this hardware kit and do recommend it. Be sure and measure the outside diameter of the top of your pole before ordering to get the right size flagpole truck and pulley.

I thought this would look and feel cheap based on its price point, but on receipt it actually looks and feels like it’s made from quality material….. I plan to buy another one.

Havent installed yet but seems good quality. Need to buy longer bolts to fit truck on top of my pole. Mine is approximately 1 3/4" diameter. Even the rope seems good quality.
