Let's me monitor my cats health. Gives me peace of mind and eliminates unnecessary trips to the vet. Easy to use and read. Just dip end of stick in urine for 10 seconds, lay flat, then read after 2 minutes. Detects blood, leukocytes, and nitrite. When one of my cats (with a history of FLUTD and bladder stones) starts to go toward the regular litter box, I offer him a small litter box that I have set aside filled with Kit4Cat hydrophobic sand. He likes the fine sand so readily takes to it (just use more sand than they recommend). Another of my cats has kidney problems and he lets me free catch his urine as he is going in his regular litter box because he faces away from the front of the box and keeps his bottom up high. But in "emergencies" when I think someone is not feeling well and don't have the time to be so watchful, I isolate one in a room with the special litter and a baby monitor camera. Urine must be fresh for the most accurate results.

This product has eliminated several trips to the vet for me and my dog family over the last year. I have senior dogs and one female with past UTI issues. I test the urine regularly at home to make sure there are no infections. The product works. The first two times I used it, I followed up with a urine sample to the vet just to be sure. It showed an active UTI in my female and my vet confirmed. Two weeks later I tested again and it showed no infection. My vet confirmed this result as well. Great product.

This test kit is new to me. I was so pleased to discover I could test my cat for a UTI at home. I love how simple it is to use the tester. And the design is cute too! It turned out my cat did have an infection and negative for something more serious. Owning fresh water aquariums and now running a salt tank I can attest that test strips like these have been in use for years to set or check parameters and remarkably accurate.

Might give you an idea if a vet visit is needed. Claims to be good for cats and dogs. Easy to read

My female spayed cat pees outside her litter box (our bed, her cat bed, the couch, her cat carrier, anything that's left on the floor) so a friend said she might have a uti. I bought this at home test and just stuck it into the litter right after she peed (before she had a chance to bury it) and within maybe 30 seconds the lines changed colors. I matched it to the included color chart and it was negative.

This is a fantastic and innovative product - I only wish I knew about it sooner! What I love is that it enables me to take responsbility for my own cat's health, so I dont have to keep going back to the vet when poor kitty has an infection or I suspect one. It really is very easy to use - dont let any preconceptions you have about this put you off. Instructions are clear and easily understantable. Go kitty go! Meowwwwww!

I noticed my cat was using the litter box way too often so I call around local pet stores to find any uti test strips but I couldnt. My luckily I was able to find these and purchase them. I received them asap and they worked great. They are very easy to use and understand. Turns out my cat did have a uti.

Ordered this hoping it would save me money, did a test on my cat when I thought she was acting abnormal and the results came back showing she "had" leukocytes in her urine. I took her urine to the vet (thinking she had a uti and needed meds) so they could test and screen it, everything came back normal, sedimentation normal, pH normal. Don't waste your time or money on this "reliable" at home test kit.
