Filtropa 8620/3 Coffee 2-3 Pack (300 Filters Total), One Size White

I love the material of these bags, the color, and the way they managed to die cut a little finger divot into just one of the sides like an old school dictionary letter tab so it’s easy to separate.What I don’t love is the gee whilakers half centimeter of seam along the cinched bottom perimeter of every filter which makes it gosh darn unsettlingly imposisble to get mine to sit nicely in a pourover dingus. It’s always dancing on that seam, and folding it back only makes it spring fourth slowly like a slow motion postmodern ballet.It’s better once it gets wet but I wish these seams could be better or on the inside or something. That’d be neato engineering.

This is too tall to fit the Hamilton Beach Flex brew basket. I had to cut 1/4" off the top and then some to get it to fit. Even then it makes really weak coffee, weaker than the brew basket that came with it. This filter is very thick, not thin like most other brands. I suggest you get a pod adapter instead of using brew basket. The EZ cup brand makes a spring loaded pod that fits just fine and the filters work great. This filter is not great for fast pouring brewers, might work for slower pours (like a drip coffee maker).

Just a quick note to say that this works really well with the Technivorm Cup-One coffee maker. Much cheaper and easier to find than the Technivorm brand.

We have been using these Filtropa filters for several years in our Technivorm coffee maker ( Moccamaster KBG 741 10-Cup Coffee Brewer with Glass Carafe, Polished Silver ) and couldn't be happier. Makes great coffee without any kind of unwanted or additional tastes. Have never had any issues with clogged or broken filters, just great tasting coffee without any paper or chemical aftertaste. Highly Recommend!!!

I was about ready to try to sell my Technivorm Moccamaster coffee maker because I wasn't pleased with the coffee it made. I tried several different filters and decided to give it one more try after reading the Filtropa coffee filter reviews on Amazon. Bingo! We are now using the Technivorm Moccamaster using the Filtropa coffee filters and haven't looked back. Using the Technivorm Moccamaster is so much more convenient than making coffee using the pour over method.

The product is the correct size but they are a lot thinner than the ones I normally use (maybe that is why they cost 5x more than these ). These have corn by pouring really hot water over grounds. I’ve gone to doubling them up to prevent tears.

I use a Melitta coffee maker, size 2. I assumed all size 2's were exactly the same, because I've purchased various brands of filters, and never noticed a difference. These DO fit the overall dimensions of the size 2, but they come to a sharper point a he end, which makes the sides of the filter not lie flat against he coffee maker. This is easily solved by folding the filter a short distance up, and I like that these filters are overall a little taller, so I worry less about the grounds going over the side of the filter when it is very full. They are good filters, but not tailor made for Melitta.

Pretty good quality filter paper with good seams, but the size is much taller than standard. You have to fold the bottom above the seam, and then the shape doesn't quite suit size two drippers, so making the filter fit neatly is fiddle. Have used multiple store and national brand size 2 filters, and usually they just fit right away with zero adjustment. These are well and truly off-size.
