Grayban Hairspray Color Restorer for Gray Hair, Non-Dye Color Restoring Spray

I was skeptical of this product as I am of any product in this category. However, I was pleasantly surprised (amazed actually) by the results I am getting after only having used the product for one week. I am 49 years old and the hair on the sides of my head has been greying for the last several years. In fact the hair is quite white instead of just grey. I have used this product once a day for a week, and I have noticed a tremendous difference. The hair on the sides of my head and elsewhere is turning to its original color. I am not going to continue applying it so that all of the grey disappears, because that's not the look I am after. After only one week of use I will pair down use to twice per week and see if that maintains the color balance I want. The product does have a distinct aroma but it's not overpowering and it's not off-putting, at least for me. Also, not much of the product is needed per use. A couple of spritzes on various parts of the hair, comb it in, and you're done. I can see this bottle lasting six months to a year. I generally put the product on my hair in the evening and then sleep on it. Then wash it out in the morning in the shower. So many times in the past I have read product claims, bought the product, and been disappointed. Not in this case. It really worked for me. Great stuff. 4/29/17 Update: Continue to be amazed by this product. Works great. Has eliminated most of my grey. I suspect it could eliminate all of it, but I am purposely using an amount that leaves some of the grey stick around.

I am not happy with this product, i thought it was going to work but is NOT, i read all the reviews before to buy and thought that it might work but don't believe it all, i have been using it since October 25/16 when it arrived and is not working, i have used it constant and i have my grey hair intact there is no changes, they are very white, it is not working, i wont use it any more from today November 13/16, i Wasted my money and i am so SAD for that because i thought that finally found something that will work but is not true, I have to dye my hair again. Please think about it before to buy this product, it doesn't work.

This stuff really does work well. You must stay vigilant & diligent in applying in order to see results. I'm not sure if it works on full head of "wisdom" color but it does on one starting to get "wise". It doesn't wash away as far as I can see but u have to remain steadfast in using every day. Maybe even twice a day. U spray it on the "wiseness" carefully as it is liquid & will run but use your fingertip/s to kinda massage or rub slightly into avoid wasting product & provide sure contact. It takes a week or so to start to notice difference but it does work! And it's not a dye. Nor is it heavy or thick. The formulation has changed & has promised to work faster shielding quicker results. I'm not sure because the old formula worked for me. All I see is the smell difference which to me, was far better the first time. So many ppl complained ( mostly piggybacking off other reviewers they read) about the smell which was that of a man's cologne or aftershave. Definitely not offensive in any way. Aaand, it dissipates fast enough & your hair smells good but u know how it is with trying to please some. Not to forget to mention that after it dies down, it mixes well with your own chemistry or even a signature scent u may wear. An even better solution is to only apply it at night & tie the hair up so that u don't have to be awake & complain about it. Surely by morning, it's gone & all that's left is the mild throes on your scarf. Some ppl really need to let things alone & be grateful the thing u sleek works.they're gonna keep changing it until it doesn't work any more. If it doesn't work for u, I don't know what to say other than each person is different maybe? However, I think "Verseo" the company offers a guarantee of sorts. Check 'me out & ask 'em. Any who, I most definitely recommend this product.

I am a person with many gray hairs, so I'm constantly looking for good quality products that help me keep a youthful appearance and not damage my hair. I liked this product. It's good because effectively delivers what it promises, which is to cover gray hair. But at least to me, it worked for me only temporarily, that is, I used the product and gray were hidden, but once again wash my hair, gray hair were back there, exactly the same whitest tone! I did not see results in that the hair regains its natural tone, and that was why I decided not to follow using. Besides the product leaves a dark tone as gray and as I have always used red hair, so I think that this was not the right product for me.

I stopped using hair dye years ago when I developed an allergy to it. I was concerned that I might be allergic to this product as well, but have not had any trouble yet. I found the spray bottle hard to control, so I poured it into a small squeeze bottle. This works much better for me. I squeeze a small amount on the hair at the roots and then run it down the length of the hair using an old tooth brush. The hair gets well coated and I don't end up with spray in my face. The coverage is subtle. The gray in my light brown hair turns blondish after a few applications. The color lasts well so long as I keep my hair out of chlorinated swimming pool water.

As many other reviewers, this product did not work at all for me. It made my hair a little thinner and dryer. I had salt and pepper gray with a little more salt than pepper. I used the GrayBan for several weeks very consistently each day. When wet or right after applying the solution my hair appeared a little less gray from reflecting less light and being more compressed together. However, looking closer when my hair was dry and looking at photos before and several weeks after application...there was absolutely no benefit at all. I've seen a few reviews lauding this product, but I'm very skeptical that it can work. I would not suggest you waste your money on it!

Smells but it dissipates, especially after you wash it the next day. Just apply it on a day you're not going out. Then wash hair next day, so on. I only used it 2 days in a row, soaked my hair thoroughly, and over one month later my hair is still darker. I didn't have time to do the 3 days in a row and then keep on going. It didn't turn all the gray/silver to dark, but I only used it 2 days in a row. What it did darken is still dark and I look 10 years younger, so I'm getting ready to use it again, still just for 2 days. I want it to look natural. If anyone asks, I'm going to attribute it to my new improved diet this year. I just didn't get around to using it again in that first month. But I don't doubt it wouldn't of turned more of my hair dark. The stuff is amazing. It's just time consuming to wash & dry hair to get rid of old product residues on hair, then wait a few hours until hair is really dry and ready to absorb. Then apply, wait overnight and then wash. A lot of effort for me but one time lasted over a month for about 40% gray coverage that looks totally natural. No one could even tell I did it. And it's still there, didn't fade or grow out. Very happy with it, worth the $20 vs paying someone to color my hair with a fake color that grows out noticeabley with roots in 4 weeks. It does smell, like the neem liquid I put on my plants. It's kind of like a strong herbal smell. I personally would not want to be around people the first 6 hours, but I rhink it smells better than a perm

Well, I had high hopes for this product. It did change my roots to a lighter shade of brown, but never got to dark brown. I concede in all truth that I only used it for 1 week, but the smell was so bad that my husband complained and that was the end of it. He gladly forked over the $65 for my (every 3 week) salon appointment to color my roots. I had heard from other websites about the smell issue, but thought they were being overly sensitive perhaps...exaggerating maybe. But it really is stinky stuff. It's a shame because I could tell it was chaning my color and I would have loved to see if it could actually make it dark brown again without harsh chemicals. In application I took other reviewers advice and poured the product into a larger spray bottle with nozzel that would not clog up easily. I applied it havily and went through 2/3s of the bottle within 1 week to saturate my roots for 5 days. Can't knock it completely because it really did change the color of my gray roots, and perhaps it would have eventually made them dark brown instead of light brown, but the smell...really bad. Since I saw that the smell was evil on other reviews I proactively ordered Tresseme Fresh Start Refreshing Hair Mist from Amazon at the same time I ordered this product, thinking it might help overcome the smell. It didn't work. Please realize that when I say it was a bad smell, I'm not talking about a "strong" hair product type of smell. My husband actually likes the smell of things like hair spay, gels, mouses etc. Trust me, it was not a pleasant smell.
