The art has changed
We first ordered Hello for my older daughter, now 5. We loved every story mostly because of the beautiful artwork. Much of the artwork was hand drawn. Sadly, now, we have ordered the magazine for my 1 year old, and our last three issues have been entirely computer generated art. There's nothing wrong with computer generated art, but the magazine lost much of it's warmth. And my kids notice a difference too. My 1 year old prefers the old editions that used to belong to her sister! If this matters to you, I'll say that Babybug--which also uses computer generated art--still has uch more hand drawn pictures inside.

My kid loves them!
My 2 yr old loves these books. I ordered here instead of through highlights because its easier with a couple clicks then setting up account. Wipe able, durable for chewing on, great little stories and on point with age group. Took a month to receive our first book.

which is great for the kids
The Highlights Hello book is made from a material thicker and less porous than paper, which is great for the kids. I read to the little one, and when she grabs the book with food or saliva soiled hands, the book is easy to wipe and remains intact.

I like the contents but was expecting more than 10 pages
I was expecting a magazine, a smaller magazine like the large highlights i hello magazine but a smaller version. This one is about 10 pages, very small but perfect for a baby. My baby loves it. Its one of his favorites. I personally was expect more. I like that its sturdy, the pages can't rip like the regular books. So for durability its a 5 star.

Two Stars
Kinda a waste of money for what you get. Each magazine is about ten pages max or less.

A magazine for a baby? Really?
I ordered this subscription for our granddaughter's first birthday because I knew she would be buried in electronic toys. It has been a real treat to learn how much she has enjoyed "her" magazine, and loves to read each issue again and again!

Great Learning Book
I only knew of the dentist office highlights, but these are absolutely better for small children. Each issue teaches a new area, like transportation, or groceries. And each issue has a "find it" section which provides a picture of three things and then has the toddler locate those items in a more detailed picture. Our grandbaby wants to read these over and over and over and she is only 19 months old.
