Purchased this meat tenderizer hammer for steak. It’s high quality stainless steel and dish washer safe. Good balance while pounding on the meat. Plan to use more for veal parmigiana, chicken fried steak, etc. A good addition to my kitchen tools.

Long handle, nice heft... Sadly where the part that contacts the meat meets the head is pushed in and there is a crevice where they meet.This is used to squish meat... Would have been nice for this to be one piece, not several pressed together with seams that can collect meat.Would be a nightmare to clean, returning... Sad I like it otherwise but that's just gross.

This is a very nice tenderizer. The wife has used it a few times now and likes the way it does the job. More important to her is that cleans up easily and nicely, that was her main reason for buying a new one. I'm going to use it to crush a few cubes of ice for my Doms B&B. I can tell it will do a good job of that as well.

I used it for doing chicken meal. Works great and not real big like some of the tenderizers are. I have arthritis and didn't want a big heavy one. Cleans up great. Glad I bought it.
