Great coffee
Machine arrived on time. It works great and I’m now in love with my morning cup of Joe!UPDATE: the machine alerted me to change the filter. I did not have a new filter so I reprogrammed it to run without the filter since I always add filtered water. Something went wrong with the warning lights and I wasn’t able to fix it. I contacted the seller and they had me send it back to them and sent me a brand new machine!I will order ALL my coffee paraphernalia from Seattle Coffee Gear from now on!

2week update
I rated three stars to give me room. So far so good, but it took me a little bit of time to figure out how to get it up and running properly. Haven’t messed with programming, but the pre programming makes a good double shot by my newbie standards and (after watching way to many YouTube tutorials before actually having a machine) I was able to pour a little bit of latte art! For my first machine and my introduction, I’d say pretty good. Will keep updated2 week update- I returned it. It refuses to pull a properly extracted shot of espresso even with store bought espresso grounds in a pressurized basket. It also has a leak. Milk steaming performance is good, and it dispenses hot water fairly well, but it’s not a great “espresso” machine

The Barista Perfetta is perfetta!
The Barista Perfetta is my first espresso machine, and it is...perfetta! I researched many machines before making the decision to get this one. It is compact and looks very sleek on my counter. The pressure gauge being front and center really helped me understand and learn how to dial in my espresso shots, and having the temperature control made it easier and worry-free. I love that I have the option of all the different portafilters and the pod-compatibility. I didn’t even realize how useful that was until I started using it. Everything I needed to get started was included and the YouTube tutorials they recommended were soooo helpful. They even have videos about latte art and that’s my next goal. I love this machine!

great machine, easy to use
I like this machine, works so easy. I sent back a GCP because it was so technical. I wanted a machine I could grind beans, load the portafilter, hit the button and wham - a nice cup of espresso. Got it here. Had to adjust grind a bit, once that was done its a perfetto. SCG followed up on chip, the tray is just painted. 5/6/21 i make 2-3 cups a day, works everytime. i think better espresso with less oily beans. Parts are hard to get, i want an extra pressurize double filter - can't find anywhere. otherwise very happy. thanks

Some PROs and some CONs
What I liked: manual steam valve so I can control my milk/froth texturing, a nice amount of pressure during a pour, a pressure gauge dial so you can monitor your draw and figure out the right balance of grind level and tamping, small footprint on my counter, solid weight so it doesn't skid on your counter when attaching or detaching the portafilter, an excellent heavy tamper, two single-walled and two double-walled filter sizes. My issues: the first machine I got had a water leak that made a puddle under the machine when making my cappuccino, it was an effort to repack everything and have it replaced but the reseller obliged. The replacement machine had other issues. I asked the reseller if the replacement unit was refurbished and they never answered that question. So it seems like I did not get a new unit as a replacement and I saw two issues. First, no matter how lightly I packed the coffee into the filter or which filter I used, the pressure during the pour was over 14 bar for some reason. The first unit I had operated at about 10 bar during a pour and fluctuated depending on the grind I used and how much I packed/tamped the coffee. The replacement unit also had some issue with the steam valve. Turning the valve slowly there was no gradual increase of the steam. I'd turn slowly and turn and turn with no steam and then very suddenly there was explosive steam which splattered milk out of the container all over the counter.I had to return the machine for a full refund. The machine seems to be manufactured in Switzerland by Solis and carried by resellers in the US, like Seattle Coffee Gear which was the reseller for my Amazon purchase. Possibly the issues I had were the result of shipping damage and not bad manufacturing, but we'll never know.

Broke 3 days after warranty expired
This worked fine until 3 days after the warranty expired. Then, it suddenly stopped developed a serious issue. When you try do any function requiring it to put out water or steam, it will start and then after a few seconds, it will stop and the two middle lights will blink rapidly. That is normally the signal that you are out of water but the water tank is full. Being out of warranty, I have tried every thing I could think of, but nothing has worked. I am assuming that some sensor has gone bad.

Loved the brewing quality, but is Leaking profusely through warming nozzle
Worked fine first two weeks, then starting leaking water profusely through the warming nozzle, as soon as I turned it on, and could not make it stop. No troubleshooting for that issue, I had to request a return. To expensive to keep a defective machine

Excellent espresso machine
Makes superb espresso. What else can I say? It's very smart, could brew very good coffee within wide range of grind. Dial is very helpful in dialing in compacting, but it does a very good job even if pressure is slightly higher or lower. It's a bit pricy, but works really well and looks good.
