I bought this bike for my daughter's 7th birthday and she absolutely loves it! It's a beautiful blue color with pink accents and a cute basket in the front. The bike is very sturdy and well-made, and it was easy to assemble with the instructions provided. The bike also comes with a kickstand, which is very convenient for parking and storage. My daughter enjoys riding this bike around the neighborhood and to the park. She says it's very comfortable and smooth, and she likes the adjustable seat and handlebars. The bike has both hand brakes and coaster brakes, which are easy to use and provide good control. The bike also has a bell, which she likes to ring to alert pedestrians and other bikers. The bike is a perfect size for her, and I think it will last her for a few years. It's not too heavy or bulky, but it's also not too small or flimsy. I got this bike for my tall newly 5 year old for her birthday. I was able to assemble by myself pretty quickly the night before her birthday, and it seems well made. The accessories that come with it do seem rather cheap, but the bike was cheap, so I can’t complain. I will say it is too large for my daughter, she needs a bit of time to grow into it so I should’ve bought a smaller size. Everything works great on it, I think it’ll be a fun bike for her once she’s a little taller. It’s very pretty and girly.

UPDATE 2017: We've had this bike for nearly 2 years and it has held up beautifully. She's now riding without the training wheels, and we've raised the seat up for growth. This is a sturdy, quality bike and I'm extremely happy that we chose this as her first bike. She's 6 1/2, now, 48 lbs, and still fits this bike very well. You don't want a bike that's too large for your child. I know those colorful character bikes at WalMart look enticing, but let me urge you to save for this bike. This bike is far and away a better quality than those $40 bikes with the bells and whistles. The body of the bike is a strong metal that won't bend or get broken with a fall. The seat is hard, which is a good thing. It has a little lip at the back for added safety and comfort. The grips are comfortable. The wheels are where the best differences lie between this bike and cheaper bikes. They are STRONG and glide smoothly. The training wheels are just the right length to keep your little one from toppling over, but can provide a good distance from the ground to encourage balance. My daughter is 5 years old and 40" tall. I recommend the 16". The 14" would have been outgrown too soon. Let them grow INTO the bike instead of OUT of it. This is a beautiful bike. Great bike my grand daughter loves it!

This bicycle is pretty solid. We got the 16" with 2 hand brakes. The rear brake is like a disc or drum brake, which is rare for a kids bike, so that's pretty cool. My daughter loves it. It came pretty much fully assembled just needed to put the seat and handlebars on; came with required tools to assemble! So far worth the money and much better quality than the target/Walmart kid bikes.

Disappointed that the suggested height for the stargirl bike is not accurate. My child is 41 inches tall but is having difficulty riding the bike because even with the seat at the lowest setting, only her toes reach the ground. This makes it difficult for her to maintain balance and gain confidence in riding the bike on her own. We are not able to use the balance and glide method as planned so it's really disappointing. This is her first "big girl bike" and its kind of ruined the experience because I followed the recommended height from the seller. I would like to return it but dont think its possible since we already put it together. We will keep trying but might have to attach the training wheels anyway :/
