My Little Pony: Pony Tales Volume 2 (MLP Pony Tales) Paperback – February 18, 2014

This is the second of the two volumes of the Pony Tales comics, and I personally prefer this set of stories over the previous (the others were good, though).Per the norm, the stories are creative and the artwork is simply great. The stories also carry the same spirit as episodes of the show for the most part, and the morals can be downright heartwarming at times. The writers have nailed the traits of each character, while still managing to work in some believable humor.These comics have been consistently enjoyable, and I would recommend them to any Friendship Is Magic fan.

This sums up the last of the Micro Series that IDW produced. The story arcs are based around Spike, The Cutie Mark Crusaders, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.As usual, IDW's manufacturing is top notch as the paper stock and build quality is fantastic. As these are the last half of the Micro Series of comics, the illustration detail is not quite as extravagant as the main comic line, but still fantastic. The stories are short and sweet and have a good moral at the end of them, much like the first season of the cartoon they're based on.

This is the second part to the volumes combining all of the micro series. Very cute n fun.

My 7 year old daughter loves these comic book series, so we dutifully get each one, though some of the stories are much better than others. In this particular book, the Luna and Celestia stories are the best, with the other two so-so (especially the Spike one). Our favorite still by far with these comic books is the Queen Chrysalis Returns (different series, but still the best comic). Definitely the best written and drawn.

I ordered this book for the Luna story as her appearances in the comic just get better and better. This case her replacing her sister as ruler of the day for a day. It interesting see her take on her sisters job and makes one wonder what kind of special night work Celestia did when Luna spent all those years on the moon. The story also includes a very cute cutie mark crusaders story with a different type of Changling.

I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH. (and TBH all the other MLP books too) I especially love how Andy Price and Amy Mebberson draw. Andy price includes little gems and draws absolutely remarkable I've read these books over and over but they never get boring.

The comic book series of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a bit different from the television show as for the most part everything is not concluded in one short chapter, although with these "Pony Tales" volumes single chapter story lines are exactly what you will be getting. Even though the writing style is a bit different from the originating TV series it is still a really enjoyable experience that I would suggest to any Brony, Pegasister, young or old!

These stories are all very cute and enjoyable, but the Luna story is the stand out. It made me laugh.
