PowerHolic Wireless Charger. PowerHolic inductive wireless charging pad is designed for quick and easy Qi standard wireless charging of all Qi enabled devices. Simply place your mobile phone on the pad and the charging will begin without connecting cables. Current Direct Charge Mobile Devices: Nexus4/LG Optimus Vu2/Nokia Lumina 920/HTC 8X/HTC Droid DNA Power Holmic wireless charging pad will also work with any Qi enabled devices through an adapter/receiver case or an embedded chip. Power Holmic wireless charging pad's concentric wave design with curved surfaces generate air flow between the device and the pad thus minimizing excessive heat that are prevalent with the conventional pad design. Three LED indicators on the edge of the pad indicate the charging status of your device. This product is W piece Qi certified and is compatible with all other Qi enabled devices from different manufacturers.

Neat Device That Works Well!
I bought this device for the main reason that I wanted to not have to worry about exactly lining up the phone with the "square" found on most other wireless charging pads. This one, and the Nexus 4 "orb" charger I have also purchased, do not care about the orientation of the phone as long as the induction "area" of the phone rests roughly on the center of this pad. Easy enough! The only reasons why I did not give this product 5 stars are two-fold:1. It gets a little warmer while charging than the Nexus 4 "orb" does. It is by no means alarming or possibly damaging the phone, but merely an area for improvement (despite the grooves that supposedly help dissipate heat).2. The charging pad takes about 2-3 seconds to "sync" with the phone and start charging. The first time I used it I thought I was doing something wrong, or that it wasn't going to work through my HTC Droid DNA and Samsung Galaxy S4's cases, but I then found out I just need to be patient.Aside from those two minor gripes, I love this charging pad and recommend it for any Qi-compatible device!

Works with Nexus 7 FHD
Works with Nexus 7 FHD, although the charging LEDs are difficult to see as the tablet is larger than the charging pad (there are three that are located where the O symbol is in Power O Holic script on top of the pad. I just offset the tablet towards where the power plug inputs and that lets me see the front LED. The LEDs don't seem to change behavior when the Nexus 7 FHD is fully charged. They just blink when "paired", then they keep blinking even when fully charged. They stop blinking when the Nexus 7 FHD is removed. The Nexus 7 FHD does make a "bong" sound when it isn't fully charged and put on the pad and it is "paired" and starts charging. Power converter says it puts out 19V and 0.5A. Haven't tried yet to see how long it takes to charge an almost empty Nexus 7 FHD. I bought this since it was larger than other Qi pads and yet still reasonably priced. Also this pad is listed on the Qi Wireless Power Consortium website as a certified charger. It was one of the few on Amazon that I could find as being certified. Makes me a bit more confident in its quality. I've charged the Nexus 7 FHD from 80% to 100% and it didn't get hot, just slightly warm. Only change I would like to see would be the LEDs stop blinking and go steady when the tablet is fully charged. Other than that its a great product. And I don;t have the tablet yet in a case so I can't comment on how well it works in a case. I have a couple on order and if I remember, I'll update this review when they arrive and I can test them.Added 9/2/13: Works with the cases I purchased. One is the Moko and the other is the silicone Poetic. Just make sure the case doesn't have any metal or magnets that would get close to the rear of the Nexus.

So far, perfect, and works with the Moko case
It works with the Moko case, which is rather thick, but it works! I don't have to remove my Nexus 7 FHD from the case to charge it. I do as another reviewer stated, and angled the pad so there's one of the LEDs to the side, which makes it easier to see that it's paired. Better visibility, and charging feedback would be nice, but this can be handled with one of any number of apps on Google Play. The tablet does get a little warm, but no more so than when I'm charging a mostly empty using a usb cable, and some heat is very much to be expected. So far, this pad has earned the 5 stars I give it.

Gread charger
This is really a great charger, it works on both of our Droid DNAs while in their Otterbox Defender cases perfectly. What I really like is the size of the charger, we have a Nokia chargers on the night stands on each side of the bed but those are small and it's very easy to bump the phone and have it slide off the charger. This one is a little over 4.5" in diameter and you don't have to worry about the phone slipping off this one. There's no sound when charging the phone but there are three leds on the top that pulse while charging. Also the heat is about the same as the Nokia chargers, the phones do get warm but not too hot after sitting on it for about an hour, and it seems to charge just as fast at the Nokia ones we have. And if you have a case on the phone, no worries, we both have Otter Box Defender cases on ours and they charge just fine.

Charges fairly quickly but ...
Pairing is definitely slower on this than other Qi chargers I have. You set your phone down (no matter how close to center position) and it always takes 5-10 secs for either of our Qi phones (both an HTC and LG) to actually start charging and this unit's LEDs to start flashing indicating the pair. This is likely due to this mfr electing a longer polling time to detect a phone - which probably saves some energy somewhere I suppose.

Bedside Charger
I'm not sure if it's my device or the charging pad, but I have to fiddle with how I place my phone (Google Nexus 4) on the pad. Usually it will start charging, but it can take a few "placements" before it starts working. Placing the phone and letting it just sit there doesn't work - it's definitely not a delay before charging. The best position is with the bottom of my phone aligned with the bottom edge of the charging pad. I bought this expecting I could have the charge pad on my desk and just place my phone on the pad when not in use, but I pick up my phone too many times to be bothered with the fiddling. The charge pad is on my bedside now and works well. I've been known to forget to unplug my phone in the morning when picking it up, so the charge pad solves that problem.
