Cost effective solution for hobbyist.
I used the seal puller to change seals in my boat trailer and lower unit of the boat motor.The seal puller works with very little effort and doesn't damage the surface you are removing the seal from.Just in case the last statement was confusing let me just say it destroys the seal in the process. But you are changing the seal anyway.This is probably not a professional quality tool but if you use it 5/10 times a year it will get the job done.

Great tool High quality
I've never been attracted to purchasing a seal puller before since in the past I've only pulled oil seals out in an industrial setting. Typically I'll have a gearbox out on a bench and you can use almost anything from a pair of large screwdrivers to a prybar to pull out a seal.However recently I wanted to work on a couple of my vehicles at home and I realized that in an automotive setting the space to work in is very restricted (working on engine still mounted in a car) so I purchased this puller ahead of the work and was glad that I did.I think I could have gotten by without the seal puller but it made the work so much easier and saved me some time.The angle of the head adjusts. Adjustment mechanism is simple and sturdy.

A must have item for your tool box
After struggling to remove a stubborn seal with picks and screwdrivers, I decided to buy this tool. It removed the seal on the first try, took two seconds. Can't believe I waited so long to buy this tool which is worth it's weight in gold!
