Love these Dover Thrift edition books
I have bought (and will continue to buy) several of these little editions and I really love them. I like the way they are bound and think they are a great little edition to my ever expanding library. Also, this is a long-time favourite of mine from Blake. If you don't own this at all, start here. If you love this, then treat yourself to a full-colour edition of this glorious set of poems and accompanying artwork!

What a resource...
These classic poems have given me pleasure ever since I first encountered them as a teenager in high school. How amazing to have them at my fingertips in Kindle edition. I can now savor them anew while waiting for the bus or traveling in the train. Each poem is a tiny gem, and everyone will probably have their own personal favorite. I am grateful that the Blake illustrated book is reproduced here, but have to admit that the Kindle format and lack of colour doesn't do the original justice. But the poems themselves are beyond criticism.

William Blake
This is a great William Blake poem book. Is there really more that needs to be said about Blake?!? This is William Blake together in one.

The Complete Artist
This is a fantastic book with virtually life-size reproductions of the poems. Blake was not just a great poet but an equally great artist and visionary. This book pulls all three together and enhances the experience of reading the poems. The colours are strong and vibrant and this book is required reading in my view for every artist. His fantasy and execution are of the highest order and the reproductions match the quality of the originals.

Writ in sarcasm
Blake's poetry is obscure, but not because of arcane language or occult symbolism. Blake is hard because his mind travels in connections that reach far into his own deep psyche. Even after 300 years, Blake is representative of no one but William Blake.Tiger, tiger...

I order the first for my grand-daughter.
I order the first for my grand-daughter. Now I have 2 more I need to order for the other two grandchildren! A perfect book for children! The pictures alone are entrancing to my 4 1/2 yr. old granddaughter. The poems are wonderful for me, and as I explain them to her as I read them it provides a wonderful opportunity to teach lessons and to spend quality time together. Such a treasure!

Poorly Formatted
This review is specific to the Kindle edition which is impossible to read due to formatting problems. As a previous reviewer noted, even on the smallest size font the end of many of the poems is cut off. I even tried reading it on my PC to see if that helped - it didn't. A great pity because the content deserves five stars. Don't waste your time downloading this version, even if it is free. Either wait until the formatting issues have been resolved, or pay for a decent version.
