Knorr Leek Recipe Mix is my go-to base for practically all of my sauces and gravies. It adds such a rich, savory flavor and really enhances whatever dish I’m making. When I follow the exact measurements on the packet, I sometimes find it’s not quite thick enough for my preference. Depending on the dish, I’ll occasionally add about 1/3 cup of flour to get the consistency just right. With that small adjustment, it turns out perfect every time. The only downside is that I can’t always find it in stores where I live, so I usually have to order it. It’s absolutely worth it. If you’re looking for a flavorful, versatile base for sauces and gravies, this mix is a great choice.

My husband loves this mix. It makes a nice soup. I also use it as a flavoring in stews and casseroles. I always keep a packet or two on hand for a quick meal.

As far as I know, this is my first time eating anything with leeks in it. I don't like standing at the stove, but it didn't take long to cook. It's delicious.
