It does the job, but is really small and hard to see detail of the fish.

Up here in the northwest salmon run up the rivers and when they all show up in chrome it can be difficult to tell what species you just caught. This item is a very helpful tool and it squashes all disputes.

Nice laminated card you can keep with your gear
The only thing I would recommend to the manufacturer would be to make it a bit bigger so that it's easier to read (for old codgers like me who need reading glasses). The card measures only about 8 x 10cm.
