Survivor All-Terrain Case Compatible with Apple iPad 10.2 inch (Ribbon Red)

This is such a strong case. My son always try to get rid of the case and just hold the iPad. The ipad screen can’t be broke easily when drop on the floor with no protection of a case. We don’t want this to happy again. So after we purchased a new iPad (2020 version with 10.2 display), I started to look for strong and durable case in Amazon. Then I found this one. We made the right choice. The packaging is great and install instructions are clear. I was able to install within few minutes. The top cover piece has multiple places to click in so is not easy for kids to take it off. We’ve now used it for six months now. Still works good.

Price could have been lower! I used this for my IPad

To me $350 on an iPad is a lot of money so I purchased this to protect my investment. I've had it for about a year now and I wish I had purchased a different brand. The kickstand has broken and it was never comfortable to hold it with the kickstand in the first place and the kickstand only goes one way. The kickstand never locked in anyway but now it's completely useless.

I still prefer Survivor to most any other case for my devices, and while in the past I was completely confident in its ability to protect them and actually had that durability put to the test this newer model seems to have fallen on mimicking other brands "look of the moment" over the superb protection and physical ruggedness of past models. I hope my fears turn out to be just fears but I also noticed that each time I buy a new product the material it is made of seems to be of lesser quality than past models of survivor cases, and they do not even have the protective camera lens covers they used to have. Hopefully the company reverses some of those design decisions so this stays as the top protective case its clients expect from them.

I wish Amazon would fix their algorithms to float up more real brands vs the cheap knock off brands that break. I have been using Griffin brand for over 7 years to protect my ipads. I originally purchased this for my first iPad from a big box store.. that cover lasted through 3 kids and was only thrown out when the laptop died. I have since purchased additional laptops and continue to go back to Griffin. I have tried other brands and they have ALL broken thanks to my kids who abuse the heck out of the ipads - talking spills, drops, throws and driving over w/ their toys. I highly recommend these cases - they do what they are made to do - protect expensive stuff!

I had to upgrade my iPad a couple weeks ago because my old one was acting up and was needing a good protective case for it. I had purchased a Griffin Survivor for my old iPad because I loved the reviews on it and was wanting to get another Survivor for my new iPad. This one was easy to wrap around the iPad and it fits like a glove. The stand is sturdy for watching movies, YouTube Videos, etc. This case feels rugged enough to protect my iPad from potential falls. I highly recommend getting this case if you’re looking for a rugged, dependable case to protect your iPad. Griffin makes some good, top quality products, and I will be a repeat customer for all my protective cases for my gadgets.

This is our 2nd iPad so we went with the same brand of case as the first one since we were so happy with how that held up over the years. The iPad was easy to install and the case seems to be well made. We put a screen protector on the iPad just for additional protection and there are no signs of lifting or bubbles when I placed it in the case. I'm hoping this case holds up just as long as the other one. Very pleased with the purchase so far.

I bought these for my kids tablets and they’ve had them for almost a year and they are very durable and protect the tablet very well.

We’ve been using the Griffin survivor covers for years and on two previous iPads and all the family’s iPhones and so far none of our devices has been damaged, even though they had been dropped in the past. Hopefully the latest survivor is not letting us down either. I bought two, one for the grandparents new iPad and one for our new iPad, so everyone is tec-ed-up for the next loc down.They are not waterproof in that you can’t take into the bath, but if you got clumsy kids that spill things and got little grubby fingers, it’s great. Our past models of the survivor, which are still going, years later have done us a good service but in all fairness have only been dropped from about 1m height. I can’t comment on how they’d fare as frisbees. The phone covers don’t last as long and the flaps do break off there in the end, butIguess they get much more usage. So far between two under 11sies, two grand parents and my husband and myself, we never had any device break because oft being dropped. Our devices are still pristine years later, but unfortunately un-updateable.Only visual difference to the previous iPad 5th gen cover is, that it’s got space for an apple pen on the top (also fits a biro)

Very poor quality compared to a previous version I had for an older iPad model. The old case was brilliant, the iPad is used by my disabled brother so gets a lot of abuse and never let us down. This version is terrible, the cover over the home button has split meaning the unit is no longer waterproof and the iPad is dented after a drop which the old case would have easily protected the iPad from. Less than 12 months old and already not fit for purpose.

Very disappointed with the quality of this product. We’ve been using Griffin Survivor cases for my sons iPad for years due to their sturdiness & durability.However this latest model is nowhere near as strong & in just a few weeks it was no longer fit for purpose.

Thought by paying so much for this cover it would’ve properly protected my iPad.. it didn’t.. screen cracked first time my son dropped the iPad and I’d added tempered glass to it. It’s not waterproof either moisture still leaked into the iPad. Couldn’t use fingerprint scan with case on either.

For the price of this it has saved my iPad at least 20 times dropped from heights onto hard surfaces and iPad still in great shape, it’s paid for itself over and over again .
