Bought these based on price and I am totally satisfied. Works as well as Salonpas and other 4% Lidocaine brands, including store brand generics. Adhesion has been excellent. I totally recommend.FOLLOW UP (12/10/23) - Frustration with Adhesive BackingI am on my second box of 30. While I am still very satisfied with the effectiveness and convenience of these pads, I am frustrated by product inconsistency. Specifically, the plastic backing is sometimes difficult to remove, the adhesive is gooey and sticky, and as I peel the backing, the pad tends to fold in on itself and/or gets stretched out. This occurred on a few of the pads in the first box I bought, but most were fine. As I begin to use the second box, it has occurred on nearly every pad. This is frustrating and I have occasionally had to throw out a pad, or snip off a portion that had folded over and became unusable.As I read back over reviews, I have noticed that a lot of people have had this experience as well. That is disappointing. I will be reaching out to Wellspring, if they do not respond in this forum.4/10/24 FOLLOW UPI did follow up with Wellspring at their number on the box. They were very responsive and sent me a new box of 30. I appreciate their responsiveness.Between the box of 30 I had just started using, and the box they sent me, I have had very few pads that peeled smoothly as designed. Most were sticky and stretched out as I tried to peel and apply them to my knee and ankle. I often cut the pad in half because I do not need a complete 3.9"x5.5" pad in either area. Either way, when applying the pad it tends to stretch from 1.5 to 2 times its length. I just put a complete 3.9x5.5 on my knee. Final size when applied was 2.9"x12".Unfortunately, I suspect, from both experience and others' reviews, that most of the other similar sized and priced pads sold here on Amazon are likely to have the same problem. Good pain relief but unreliable application and adhesion.

These Welmate Lidocaine patches work as well as or better than the more expensive patches.The price point is much better since there are FORTY patches in the box for use. I use some medical tape on two sides to insure it stays on all day BUT I use tape on all ALL the lidocaine patches. I recommend these patches because they work and are LESS EXPENSIVE!

Fairly good product...my only complaint is is doesn't adhere as well as some other brands

I used these for everything achy/pain related that I can, whether it is a sore back or even sadly a sunburn on the tops of my feet that took forever to heal. These patches do what they’re supposed to do as well as they are able to do. I wish that they were easier to put on by myself. The contortions I need to get them on my back and they sometimes crinkle crinkle, and stick to itself and don’t come unstuck

1) Doesn't stick to the skin! I washed, air dried, and used alcohol on my lower back before applying the patch but as soon as I started moving it rolled, separated from the skin and came off. Next I tried other ways to keep the patch in place, like medical tape, but that only kept the edges down. Once again, the second I began to move, the center of the patch raised from my skin. Then, I thought I'd have better luck while resting so I applied a patch to my lower back and leaned against pillows to keep it in place. It worked but only for as long as I stayed still. With the patch finally staying in place I came realize that 2) The patch doesn't even activate! It's being compared to ICYHOT but it doesn't get icy nor hot. Yes, it's cool when you first remove it from the foil pouch but that's it. It isn't cold at all and it definitely doesn't get hot. At best it may have matched my body temperature but that was after leaning against pillows while watching a movie. And finally 3) ABSOLUTELY ZERO PAIN RELIEF!! I highly doubt these things are even medicated there's no smell and no sensation to the skin. I filed a complaint, got a refund and threw the box of unused (36) patches in the trash.
