Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is a staple in our house. Takes up less space than BPA lined canned tomatoes, zero sodium added and nothing to throw away. Just pure, sweet, delicious tomatoes, use as much as needed for soups and sauces, no waste.

I absolutely love this powder. I never buy canned tomato sauce or paste since I've been using it. Tastes better, without the metallic can taste added. Awesome texture and flavor. Perfect for everything in which I use it.

Delicious. Tastes just like v8 juice. If you don’t like v8, you won’t like this! Clumps a bit, so you will have to break it up. There’s another one commonly seen on Amazon that’s a little less expensive, and a little finer grain that doesn’t clump as much, but doesn’t taste quite as good. To be honest, you might not notice too much without taste testing them side by side. But this is a good product, in my opinion.

This USA grown organic freeze dried tomato powder tastes great, sweet with a little tang. It almost tastes like ketchup if you mix it with just enough water. It will clump if not sealed well so he sure to store it properly in a low moisture environment such as your cupboards or pantry. I love that this is organic, domestically grown, and there is no added salt, anti caking agents or preservatives. I will buy this product again.

I really enjoy the old fashioned plain tomato soup the Campbell makes, but local stores like TJs only carry organic tomato soup with lots of dairy in it. As I have gotten older, I have found dairy can congest my sinuses. So decided to try making tomato soup with this organic tomato powder, and it is good! Here is my recipe: In a small pot add to 1 cup distilled water, 1 Tablespoon of tomato powder, 1-1/2 teaspoons of granulated sugar, and salt, then use an immersion blender for 30 seconds and it suddenly turns into a thick soup. Just bring to a boil and take off heat, add pepper to taste, and a dollop of olive oil. The sugar neutralizes the natural acidity of the tomato powder. Just made it for the 2nd time with some toasted french baguette coated with olive oil, great snack! 3rd time was with 1/2 cup cooked jasmine rice added, let stand for 5 minutes after boiling to let refrigerated rice rehydrate, great old fashioned tomato rice soup!

Very clumpy. Have to use spoon to unclump. Tastes fine.

the quality is good.low salt.but a turn off for me didn't see the California warning about could cause cancer.on a pack of cigarette ok.but food no.will not buy again.
