Exactly what I needed
I purchased 4 of these bottles with 2 filters each. The adventure filter and the fitness/tap water filter. Gave as Christmas gifts: 1 to adult daughter for camping with her dog and 1 to grandson for camping with the Boy Scouts. The other 2 bottles I purchased for my husband and I for our upcoming trip to Italy. We both use CPAP. As we learned from our 1st overseas trip to London, distilled water is not easy to purchase overseas. Traveling on an airplane with distilled water is not possible for a 2 week trip for 2 CPAP's. Other countries very much do not understand why we need distilled water and don't seem to understand why we need these medical devices. If we use tap water or regular bottled water in our machines it leaves a white residue from the minerals in the water. Leaving the machine hard to clean and I believe hard on the machine itself. The adventure filter used for filtering water from streams, worked perfectly for our CPAP's ! No visible residue at all ! I felt safe using the filtered water for my own health and for the machine too. I liked that there was no straw because I could just squeeze out the water I needed to fill the water tray in the CPAP. The straw would have been difficult to do this. Plus since I used the second bottle in my day pack while touring, I could share the bottle with my husband ( who had a cold a couple of days into our trip). We just squeezed the water into our mouth without putting our mouth on the spout. I was concerned at 1st that I couldn't get a bigger bottle with the 2 types of filters but it worked out perfectly. If I had a bigger bottle it would have been heavier to carry around. It was easy to fill if needed more water. We also found TSA asked if we had a metal water bottle. This bottle is a good, light weight, sturdy plastic. We have enough to think about getting through TSA ! This worked out better than I expected. This was a really great purchase choice. Great product. Only cons...1. replacement filters are a bit expensive, however, I suppose it is in line with other filter prices...2. The bottles did not come with filter information; like, run under cold tap water for 1 minute? 30 seconds? Soak in bowl? Or how to install filter. Although, inserting the filter really was easy to figure out. When I went online to get the information, printing was an issue because I couldn't enlarge print. Actually had to use a magnifying glass to try to read. This information could have easily been on the packaging of the bottle. Otherwise, what a perfect purchase/gift !

LESS LIKELY TO GROW MOLD THAN POROUS STRAW BOTTLES
Tastes great! Gets rid of the chlorine taste. Very light, easy to use and most important for me LESS LIKELY TO GROW MOLD. My Brita straw bottle was a MOLD MAGNET. In general the bottle's mouth piece is less porous, and the drinking mechanism is less likely to leave water sitting trapped. Easy to chuck in the dishwasher, some people have had leaking problems (I haven't yet though apparently removing the loop helps). If on sale, this bottle is great quality for the money.

Right size
Very nice, right size, will be easy to use. It could be improved by including a small instruction sheet in the box with the bottle.

Valve Began Leaking After Less Than Two Months of Light Use
The bottle worked well for the first two months with only light use. Unfortunately, the valve then developed a leak, making it completely unusable. Thankfully, the return policy is generous, and I'm able to send back both the bottle and the replacement filters I had purchased.

Love the concept but needs some work
I wanted to love this product but.... I took this on a cruise with me where I had a bunch of excursions. I bought the survival filter. The good news: It served its purpose and the water taste great so I am really very 5 star rating about that. Now onto the Vanity and my first world problems :) I did love the color and that it had the traditional pull spout to get water. Keep it simple works great. The cap to the water bottle during hiking however i lost a few times as it isn't as secure (not sure maybe user error). My biggest issue. It was hard to drink water from. Also it made a high pitch noise when I drank water. However, for the price point again it served its purpose and provided me with safe drinking water. So if you are in a similar position and not ready to invest in a pro version then I would recommend.

Good inexpensive lightweight solution to clean water
Extremely good price for electro absorbsorption filter bottle that can eliminate viruses when using the blue ADVENTURE filter. This is my second bottle as I lost the first one on an airplane or taxi but I liked it enough to buy another one. This is the duo filter version with a blue ADVENTURE FILTER that will eliminate most VIRUSES and BACTERIA and a green filter is meant for filtering tap water to make it taste better and eliminate impurities in tap water. So far I've only used the adventure filter on Isla de Rosario Island off of Cartagena, Columbia. My lodgings was in an Eco Lodge that, to me, had questionable water quality but I had no reason to suspect it of being bad. This is one of those lodges that only had electricity at night and had buckets for flushing the toilet using rainwater but there was running water. Regardless, I did not get sick. The only way of knowing if a filter does NOT work is if you DO get sick. But so far so good. The end cap that holds the filter in place can be difficult to remove. At first I thought it was screwed on but it is not, as noted on the bottom of the cap itself where it states SNAP (See pic). You merely snap off the beige end cap and then insert the filter in the order shown in the pics. The end of the beige cap has a numbered dial and can turn so that you can track the number of filter usage. The numbered dial moves too easily and can easily be moved away from the intended number when removing the end cap thus making it easy to lose track of the number of usages. It would be nice if it had CLICK settings to hold the dial in place. The bottle is easy to squeeze and drink water through the adventure filter. Some filters are difficult to drink water through but not this one and has very good water flow. The soft bottle is durable, and has held up to several droppings while full of water. The pull up spout has not leaked. The opening is large (2"/50mm dia) so easy to fill and large enough for ice cubes. The large diameter opening also makes for easy use of a bottle brush. The carry loop is a nice feature but it would be nice if the cap was attached to the bottle. An extremely well thought out feature in the cap is a ring that closes the spout when the cap is put on to prevent accidental leakage should you forget to push the spout back in! (Again, see pic). Recommended!

Okay, So I work up north in an isolated location. Their water is treated heavily with chlorine. I bought this water bottle in hopes it would make the water taste less like I'm drinking directly from a pool. The filter and bottle done a great job. Nearly all the chlorine taste was eliminated immediately. However, the bottle makes the strangest noise when you're drinking from it. You also can't "down" the water because it comes out slowly because of the filter. Other than the bottle making a sound that resembles a dying goat, it's decent!

Worked well for the month the filter lasted but cannot buy the blue carbon filters locally (I get it’s my own fault for not checking that first). In essence it’s a very expensive single use water bottle. If in Australia, look at Brita or another brand where you can ACTUALLY buy replacement filters without importing them.
