Wonu Korean Quality Heavyweight King Two-Ply Dark Chocolate Brown Mink Blanket

I had previously purchased the Original Korean Wonu Trix Solid Mink Blanket, also from Imported Blankets here on Amazon, which seemed VERY warm, but rather course and stiff compared to what I expected. Also, the rather bright "caramel" color with it's orange-y undertones turned me off, so I returned it. I emailed the seller about the darker caramel also offered and they said it is darker, but "so very much like the other one," so I skipped that.However, I still wanted one of these super-warm blankets, so I decided to try this king-size chocolate. I received it today and what a wonderful surprise! The package says "Stellamor Hi Safari Two-ply Blanket/Corbertor" and with a little online research, I found that Stellamore is supposed to be the best Korean mink blanket. My other package said Trix, and it was NOT the same. I immediately noticed this one is in NO WAY stiff, and with a much softer, plushier "hand" than the former blanket. Seems even just a bit heavier/warmer than the Trix (though I'm not sure). You can easily pull the two ply's apart. It has a nicer, 1-inch border of the same color, and is all well-sewn. This is more like it! Now, we'll see what it's like to sleep under, will post again if it isn't perfect.Update: Usually an insomniac, I slept better with this blanket. It's heaviness doesn't bother me. I'm a senior lady, 5'6", small-boned, but about 185 lbs.P.S. I just have a full-size bed. The package says 86 x 94 inches (king). Arranged properly, it covers the entire surface of my bed with a 19" drop at the foot for tuck-in and 16" over each side, just covering my thick mattress and half-size box spring down to the rails. It's beautiful.If in doubt with all the super-warmth mink choices, and you want a nice brown color, I'd say pay the extra few bucks and get this one. I guess it actually best fits a full or queen bed.

I gifted this blanket and the permanently-chilly giftee has described it as "Ultra-cozy. Dangerously cozy." I think he's fairly satisfied with it.From what I've seen of the blanket, it is very high quality, with a cotton-finished edge. It has some variation from side to side, with one side being a very luxurious, glossy dark brown "mink" look, and the other more of a plush look with a deep brown at the surface and a dark vanilla color when you dig your fingers into the plush. The vanilla color is very subtle and is not visible unless you are looking for it. It adds a depth to the color scheme and makes the blanket look more like real fur. Both sides are insanely soft and snuggly. This is a blanket that makes you want to curl up with a good book and a cup of hot cocoa on a snowy day.This is a fairly heavy blanket, certainly more suited for cooler months. There is a logo on one corner of the blanket that is printed (vanilla colored) and about 6-8 inches across. We hid it with a throw blanket at the foot of the bed.

First one I bought in Black, that is more like a Blue/Black color.Blanket is soft, and keeps you warm. If you have multiple blankets on your bed. This one blanket will do the trick. I looked high and look for an "authentic" Korean blanket (to no avail) until I started doing online searches.The vendor that sells these blankets [...] does a good job, only complaint is delivery seems to take solong in getting the blanket. But it is a 15 lbs blanket so I guess that factors in how its delivered.Heavy weight blanket out of the box (15 lbs), but doesn't feel like that on the bed. Definitely keeps us warm with no complaints.The Chocolate color is perfect. I Love how it doesn't feel heavy on the body when you get under it, BUT it definitely keeps you warm (without sweating).Definitely worth a buy. I also bought the Black colored one; my only complaint with that is it's more Blue/Black in color.Minor detail but this brand blanket is definitely worth the purchase.Washes well.

Wow! Warm and very soft. I use this on my tuft and needle double size mattress on the floor. This thing is so elegant and warm. I think I'll be staying warm with this on the bed. Its very dense and heavy and is all I need on my bed. Heat is rarely turned on in the house I rent a room in. This blanket spoils me.

This is NOT a real Korean mink blanket.Its 100% polyester and made in UAE.The real mink blankets are made in Korea and are a mix of acrylic and polyester and the double ones are A LOT heavier..This one is listed as 14 lbs..its more like 5-6 pounds and listed as a King but it barely fits the top of the king. False advertising

Says king size, but measure your bed! The blanket only covers surface of bed. It does not hang over sides of bed

Would recommend for any one seeking weighted blabkets. My partner had one of these years ago from Korea when he was stationed there. We had discussed heavy weighted blankets for some time. We had been discussing making our own buckwheat quilt. We came across this blanket on Amazon and after some research through various reviews / sellers of this brand, we placed the order. As some have stated the name of the company is on one corner of the blanket and I don't mind. This is two-ply, soft and the color matched the photo. The weight is nice and comfortable. I imagine it is not the weight of a buckwheat filled blanket, but we are really happy with this.

I like the blanket, but I wish they sent an actual King-sized blanket to fit my bed.
