I have gotten back into baking. This matte makes it easy to roll pie crust and knead bread. When I am finished I just dump the excess flour into the trash. Clean up is easy. I use a small amount of flour and my dough doesn't stick. I love having measurements on the matte for linear measure and circles. I keep this rolled up with my little maple rolling pin and I use it at least a couple of times a week. Great addition to any kitchen where pie crust or bread are being made.

The mat is a bit thinner than I expected, however, that is irrelevant, as I am not using to bake in the oven. I needed something for rolling out fondant and it works great. It is very easy to clean and rolls up when you are not using it, so it doesn't take much space.

The only thing I didn’t like about this mat is that it came with no cleaning instructions, and the only way I could find to clean it is to scrub it in the sink and then find a way to prop it up in a draining rack somehow to drip dry. But other than that, I love it! The old Tupperware pie mat that I got many many years ago was very awkward to use and didn’t grip the counter well at all. This one stays wherever you put it, whether that’s the kitchen counter, the kitchen table or whatever and it does not slip when you’re rolling out pie crust or cookie dough. The functionality of it far outweighs the minor annoyance of cleaning it.

it's nice but I think it's a bit thin. cleans up well, but I think it needs to be a bit heavier (thicker)

I decided to try baking again, didn't want mess of flour and sugar all over. I saw someone using something like this on t.v show. I didn't even know what to call it. I think i typed in something like baking mats and pages popped up. I bought the cheapest one i could find, thinking i wouldn't like it. I was wrong, i love this thing. I don't need to google measurements anymore, and it even has ruler measurements at the top. I make a mess baking cookies, so easy to wipe up flour and sugar with damp sponge, dry it, then roll in up and put in cabinet with the foil, plastic wrap, etc. It doesn't take up any room. I'm going to buy 1 for 2 different friends who are bakers and don't have one. Everytime i tell them i baking they say why don't you buy something instead or what did you ruin this time.I'm glad i ordered this size, it's pretty large.Oh, i put a large pot of hot soup on it, i figured it's silicone and would be ok and a spill could be wiped up easier. It worked, not ruined.Great purchase!!!

Love this mat. It sticks very nicely to my marble countertop. I also like the measurements in the center for round pastry and the inches and centimeters on the edges for square.

During this pandemic, I've been cooking up a storm. One thing I've been cooking a lot of are ethnic breads--pitas, chapatis, and rotis, which all require rolling out the dough into a flat circle. Before purchasing this pastry mat, I rolled the dough on my counter top, which always made a big mess to clean up. I love this mat because it doesn't slide around while rolling out the dough. The circle guidelines help with judging the size of bread I need and the overall size of the mat is perfect. I also purchased a silicone pastry cutter to keep from damaging the surface.Cleanup is a breeze--just wash by hand in the sink and hang it up to dry. Once thoroughly dry, I roll it up and store it in the drawer next to the rolling pin. I can't believe I've been cooking for 50 years without a pastry mat. Highly recommend it.

I love this pastry mat and have wondered how I have not bought one of these sooner! It is great for rolling out pastry dough and noodles/pasta. What I love the most about it is that it does not skid but grips the counter which makes it easy to use the rolling pin. I bought one for my daughter-in-law and she loves it also. Easy to clean and rolls up for storage and does not take up much room in the drawer.
